First, the difference in learning content is the change of subjects. In addition to the number of main subjects, junior high school subjects include politics, history, physics, chemistry, geography, biology and other auxiliary subjects, as well as one or two relaxing sports music classes, of which only seven subjects need to be tested in the college entrance examination plus sports scores. The most obvious change in high school is the placement of arts and sciences in senior two. After choosing a subject, there are fewer subjects to learn. Liberal arts do not need to study physical chemistry, and science does not need to study political history.
Second, the learning methods are different. The subject content of junior high school is much simpler than that of senior high school, and there are fixed answer templates for major subjects such as Chinese. As long as you recite the required texts according to the answer template, you can get high marks. Therefore, most junior high school students learn by rote, and there are only one or two important knowledge points in junior high school mathematics, such as geometric equations, which are not difficult. As long as you are diligent in writing exercises, you can master them slowly, and high school also pays attention to rote memorization. But for such a big subject as Chinese, understanding the content of the article becomes the key. Classical Chinese in junior high school is all the contents of books, while classical Chinese in senior high school is all excerpted and needs to be translated by yourself. Therefore, when it comes to high school learning methods, we should pay more attention to the accumulation of extracurricular activities.
Third, the learning requirements are different. Because of the different examination contents, the learning requirements of the two academic years have also become different. For junior high school students, solid basic knowledge is more important. Because the junior high school exam focuses on the knowledge in the textbook and will never change. High school pays more attention to the expansion of knowledge, and the examination content is not limited to textbooks. Therefore, high school students are required to increase their knowledge around textbooks, such as buying a book translated from classical Chinese and learning the meaning of classical Chinese to cope with the unfamiliar translation of classical Chinese in the exam.
