Historical reasons. According to official website and Dawu County People's Government, Dawu Chengguan Middle School was closed for several years because of historical reasons. In the autumn of 20 15, the senior middle school of Chengguan Middle School stopped enrolling students, and the school was changed from a complete middle school to a junior middle school. Due to the increase of urban population and the increasing number of high school students, a series of problems such as insufficient high school degree, large class size in public schools and small proportion of students have also emerged in our county. In order to make full use of the existing educational resources and tap the potential of running a high school in our county, in mid-March, our bureau organized professionals to conduct a preliminary check on the running conditions of Chengguan Middle School, and determined that the school has the basic conditions for establishing a high school. Dawu County Education Bureau approved Chengguan Middle School to resume high school by document Wu Jiaofa [2022] 16, and plans to formally enroll students in the autumn of 2022. Chengguan Middle School will certainly make new contributions to Dawu's educational development.
