The college has departments of pedagogy, psychology, educational technology and preschool education, Guangxi Ethnic Education Research Center, Guangxi Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences, Psychological Consultation and Education Research Center, Early Childhood Development and Education Research Center, Curriculum and Teaching Research Center, Middle School Education Research Center, Higher Education Research Center, Guangxi Distance Education Research Center for Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Education Science Research Institute, Guangxi Teacher Education Website, and Guangxi Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center-Educational Science and Technology Experimental Center. At present, the college has seven undergraduate majors, including public utilities management (educational management), applied psychology, educational technology, preschool education, pedagogy, primary education and mental health consultation, including curriculum and teaching theory, educational economy and management, educational principles, higher education, comparative pedagogy, educational technology, developmental and educational psychology and master of education (educational management direction) and master of higher education (educational management direction, curriculum and teaching theory direction). In 2008, there were 428 postgraduates, 29 masters of education (education management direction) 107 and 29 masters of education in colleges and universities. Together with Korea Giant Buddha University, there are 36 graduate students in education, more than 30 graduate classes/kloc-0, 560 full-time undergraduates and more than 2,000 correspondence and junior college students. The college has undertaken the training of key teachers of primary and secondary schools in China, the training of principals and directors of education in Guangxi, the training of key teachers of special education in Guangxi, and the training of "Gardener Project in the 20th Century" for the construction of primary and secondary school teachers in Guangxi. It has become an important training base for key teachers and educational administrative cadres in primary and secondary schools nationwide and an educational decision-making consultation center in Guangxi. At present, the college has formed a multi-level, multi-type, multi-functional and open pattern of integrated pre-service and post-service education for teachers.
