In Plato's view, the ideal country needs not only soldiers and manual workers, but also philosophers. He believes that different people have different innate qualities, and it is impossible to educate everyone in the same way, but the state can train people into philosophers, soldiers and manual workers according to their talents, thus maintaining the stability of the ideal national order.
