Kaifeng Teachers College was merged into Kaifeng Education College in 2009. Kaifeng Institute of Education, affiliated to Kaifeng Municipal Government, has legal personality and is a fully funded institution. The leading bodies of the college, composed of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, are: President Shen, Party Secretary and Deputy Secretary Jiang Quanxin, Deputy Secretary Wei Xinyuan, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Vice President Xu, Vice President Ma Yuanping and Vice President Ma Jiayou.
