1, different definitions

(1) Three Supports and One Support: Every year, an appropriate number of fresh college graduates are recruited in a planned way to engage in teaching, agriculture, medicine, water conservancy and poverty alleviation in rural areas, so as to provide talent support for promoting the development of social undertakings such as rural education, agriculture, health, water conservancy and poverty alleviation. (2) Volunteers in the West: This project has been implemented since 2003. According to the methods of open recruitment, voluntary registration, organizational selection and centralized dispatch, a certain number of fresh graduates or graduate students from ordinary colleges and universities will be recruited every year to carry out voluntary services such as education, health, agricultural technology and poverty alleviation in the western grassroots, with a term of 1-3 years.
