New changes brought about by urban and rural education reform
Since the national basic education curriculum reform experiment started, it has brought five major changes to Beilun education:

The first is the change of teachers' teaching concept. There is basically no teacher-centered indoctrination-acceptance teaching mode in the classroom, and students' dominant position is obviously prominent. Teachers become the organizers, guides and collaborators of students' learning, and a new type of equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students is taking shape. The educational concept based on students' development, the teaching concept of autonomy, cooperation and inquiry, the curriculum concept of returning to life and the learning concept of constructivism have become teachers' new ideas.

The second is the change of students' learning style. Compared with the past, students' rote memorization is obviously weakened. In the autonomous learning situation provided by teachers, students acquire new knowledge, master learning methods and constantly develop their own abilities through inquiry learning and group cooperation. In the investigation, it is found that the new curriculum experiment has greatly stimulated students' interest in learning.

The third is the reform of students' evaluation methods. The new curriculum promotes the diversification of students' evaluation. Students' quality is no longer measured only by test scores, but by an encouraging and developing way. Paying attention to students' learning quality and learning level in the usual learning process, teachers are no longer the only subject to evaluate students. The final exam adopts the combination of process evaluation and summative evaluation, qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation, and self-evaluation and mutual evaluation and teacher evaluation. And establish a growth portfolio for students.

Fourth, the teaching and research atmosphere is unprecedentedly strong. Since the implementation of the new curriculum, it has become a conscious behavior for both teachers and teaching and research groups to discuss teaching. In addition to the three-level network teaching and research activities in the whole district, school districts and schools, teachers also actively write teaching case analysis and essays, fill in experimental notebooks and write many valuable papers. Since the second half of last year alone, there have been 46 district-level topics in the new curriculum and 4 provincial-level topics have been declared. 1 won the first prize of provincial planning project, 1 won the second prize of provincial education and scientific research, and many other municipal prizes.

Fifth, teachers' teaching achievements are remarkable. Thanks to the new teaching methods and methods brought by the curriculum reform, Beilun teachers won six titles in the junior high school 1 1 subject evaluation in Ningbo last year, ranking first in the city, which is also the best achievement Beilun has achieved in similar battles in history.
