Let's start with the house. The house is a mountain on the heads of ordinary people, because the increase of the house far exceeds the increase of residents' income. At present, the average price of real estate in first-tier cities is more than 50,000 yuan, and it takes at least 5 million yuan to buy 100 square meters. 12 years ago in 2008, the house price was only10.5 million, and the total house price was only10.5 million or so. Some people may say that you can rent a house if you can't afford it! However, house prices are rising rapidly and rents are also rising. This really worries the house slaves about paying the mortgage, and the tenants are worried about paying the landlord's rent on time every month. In fact, our country lacks two things in the house: first, the house is related to people's livelihood and cannot be used for speculation. Second, the house can be market-oriented, but it should support the disadvantaged groups.
On the surface, education has nothing to do with the overall situation. Because the public fees for nine-year compulsory education are not high, the school basically does not collect money. But now many parents want their children to succeed. They don't want their children to lose at the starting line, so they enroll in interest classes when they go to kindergarten, remedial classes when they go to junior high school, and even expensive aristocratic schools. It is not unusual to go to a well-known domestic brand university or simply study abroad and spend hundreds of thousands or millions. Many people also understand that social competition is so cruel now that others are cultivating their children. If children are not given new opportunities to get high-quality education, they may always fall behind others.
Let's talk about medical care. Although many people live in big cities and have medical insurance, they usually have headaches and brain fever, so they can go to pharmacies to get medicines at little cost. But if you go to the hospital, the cost will go up directly. Once, an old colleague of mine told me that his registered permanent residence was not in Shanghai. Recently, I had an eye infection and went to the hospital to see an ophthalmologist. Seeing that he was not registered locally, the doctor simply asked him how much money he had with him. As a result, he replied that it was 200 yuan, and the doctor prescribed 200 yuan's medicine. At present, the contradiction between doctors and patients is prominent in some areas of our country, mainly because of the system of supporting doctors with medicine. I hope that in the future, the drug fee will be separated from the doctor's service fee, so that the drugs can be purchased centrally and the patient's expenses will be reduced after illness.
In fact, housing prices, education and medical care are all closely related to the lives of ordinary people. High housing prices make people spend more income on mortgage repayment and rent payment. At the same time, parents always want their children to get a good education, and now people spend more and more on education. More importantly, on the issue of seeing a doctor, once those who have no medical insurance get seriously ill, they either spend all their savings or have no money to treat them and give up seeing a doctor. In fact, real estate, education and medical care are all related to the people's livelihood and well-being of a country. Even if we want to take the road of marketization, we should give some protection to low-and middle-income groups. If it is completely market-oriented, it is inevitable that low-and middle-income groups will complain again and again.
