Foreign Studies University of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BISU), founded in 1964, is a teaching-oriented university with foreign languages and literature as the main body, tourism management as the characteristic discipline, and literature, management, economics, law, philosophy and other disciplines developing harmoniously. BISU adheres to the school-running philosophy of "being well-known, diligent, realistic and competitive", bases itself on Beijing, serves the capital and radiates the whole country, and cultivates international applied talents in foreign affairs, tourism, economy, trade and culture for the country's economic and social development.

Beijing Foreign Studies University (BISU), referred to as "Second Beijing Foreign Studies University" and "Second Foreign Affairs University".
