The continuing education of Jinan University is managed by the School of Education of Jinan University. Mainly responsible for adult higher education in Jinan University, responsible for the management and teaching of adult education in the whole school. Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded the corresponding graduation certificate and degree certificate of Jinan University.
Jinan University is the first overseas Chinese university founded by the state in China, and currently has the largest number of overseas students in China. It is a national key comprehensive university under the leadership of the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office under the "2 1 1 Project".
The word "Jin 'an" comes from the article "Shangshu: Gong Yu": "The east is gradually in the sea, the west is in quicksand, and the south is combined, and the sound teaches the world." It means facing Nanyang and spreading Chinese culture to all parts of the world.
The school's predecessor was Jinan School, which was founded by the Qing government in Nanjing on 1906. Later, it moved to Shanghai, and 1927 was renamed as National Jinan University. During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he moved to Jianyang, Fujian.
1946 moved back to Shanghai. 1949 merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University and other universities in August. 1958 Reconstruction in Guangzhou. Jinan University, known as "the highest institution for overseas Chinese", abides by the motto of "loyalty and forgiveness" and pays attention to cultivating talents with the excellent traditional moral culture of the Chinese nation.
