Laoshan boundary, named Yuechengling on the map, also known as Yaoshan, is one of the five mountains. The middle branch of Yuechengling is southwest-northeast, with a length of 2 1 km and a width of 6 km, and Fiona Fang 126 km2. Its main peak, Maoershan, is 2 14 1.5m above sea level, which is the highest peak in Yuechengling and Wuling. Laoshan boundary is the first mountain that the Central Red Army crossed in the Long March.

From Tongren Village in Xing 'an along the Longtan River all the way to Leigongyan, from the southwest of Maoershan, the main peak, it is mainly a part of the first and second columns of the Central Committee, the Red Fifth Army and the Red Eighth Army. All the way from Qingdian Village, Gaozhai Village Committee of Xing 'an, along the Tortoise River, across Panjiazhai, over Liyuan Waterfall, up the ladder ridge, and across the Laoshan boundary from the northeast of Maoershan, mainly the Red Eight Army Corps; From Xing 'an Water Department all the way to Gaozhai, to Li Jiatian, along the Laoshan boundary on the Cunninghamia lanceolata River, it entered the resource pond to keep up with the main force of the Red Army, mainly the 13th Division of the Red Fifth Army.

1934 65438+On February 4th, the first column of the CMC moved through Fangbian, xiang tang, Ma Ling, Xing 'an and Liu Dong area, and began to cross the Laoshan boundary in the afternoon. On February 8, 65438, the Red 37 Regiment, a part of the Red 8 Regiment and peace preservation corps, who was guarding the Laoshan border, were ordered to evacuate to Ziyuantang and Longsheng River bottom. At this point, all the Red Army left Xing 'an County.
