Chuzhou College, located in Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, is a full-time ordinary college sponsored by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and headed by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. Chuzhou College, formerly known as Chuzhou Normal School, was founded in 1950. 1977, the teaching point of Chuxian County, Anhui Normal University (Chuzhou Branch) was established; 1980 changed its name to Chuzhou Normal University; Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004, it was upgraded and named Chuzhou College.
