How to interpret the policy of double reduction in education
1, reduce the total amount and duration of homework in an all-round way, and reduce students' excessive workload.
Schools should ensure that no homework is assigned in the first and second grades of primary schools, and consolidation exercises can be arranged appropriately in the school. The average completion time of written homework in grades three to six of primary school is no more than 60 minutes, and the average completion time of written homework in junior high school is no more than 90 minutes;
2. Improve the level of after-school service to meet the diverse needs of students.
Schools should formulate the implementation plan of after-school service to enhance the attraction of after-school service. Make full use of after-school service time, guide students to finish their homework carefully, make up lessons for students with learning difficulties and answer questions, expand learning space for students with spare capacity, and carry out a variety of popular science, style, art, labor, reading, interest groups and community activities. Do not use after-school service time to talk about new lessons;
3. Adhere to strict governance and comprehensively standardize off-campus training behavior.
