The college has trained thousands of "double-qualified" talents, most of whom have become the backbone and main force of vocational and technical education in Hebei Province.

Vocational and technical colleges have national vocational skill appraisal institutes. Hebei Vocational Education Research Institute and Hebei Vocational Education Center are affiliated to this institute. In May, 2000, the school settled in the college as the "National Key Construction Base of Vocational Education Teacher Training" determined by the Ministry of Education. The college has outstanding characteristics and strong advantages in the discipline of mechanical and electronic information. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, he undertook the National Natural Science Foundation project 1, undertook or completed 6 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, published 96 papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, including 30 EI articles and 36 textbooks. The college has established a national vocational skill appraisal institute, and has established close cooperative relations with more than 30 well-known enterprises inside and outside the province, such as Shijiazhuang Water Pump Factory, Power Machinery Factory and Best Electric Company. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, 17 training courses for professional backbone teachers, practice instructors, principals and managers of secondary vocational schools were held successively, and 2429 teachers were trained. An in-service teacher qualification training mode is explored, which combines pre-service training with post-service training, school-enterprise training, and academic certificate with vocational qualification certificate.
