Environmental protection is the common cause of all mankind, environmental protection education is the foundation, and children's environmental education is the first. At present, kindergartens have realized the importance of environmental protection and incorporated environmental education into education and teaching. In recent years, we have carried out a series of explorations on environmental education, which has penetrated environmental education into children's daily activities and accumulated some practical experience.
First, clear objectives to ensure the long-term effectiveness of environmental education.
First of all, we should consider children's physical and mental development, and make practical goals according to the actual situation of the local park. 1. Offering courses with environmental characteristics
We have infiltrated environmental education into language teaching, social teaching and art teaching. In social teaching, children are educated in an active atmosphere through activities such as "smoking is harmful to people"; In art teaching, children are educated by means of percussion "Story in the Rain", painting "Bird's Home" and manual "Change", and a large number of waste materials are put in various areas to turn waste into treasure, so that children can feel that waste can be reused. While infiltrating environmental education into the above subjects, we also designed a comprehensive environmental protection course. For example, in "Terrible Waste Batteries", we first let the children know the harm of waste batteries to the environment through a class. After the teaching activities, we launched a publicity campaign on waste battery recycling. All the children are very active and attach great importance to this environmental protection publicity activity. They collected and brought a lot of used batteries from home for us to recycle and dispose of. Teachers and students have jointly made waste battery recycling bins to tell people around them about the dangers of waste batteries, so that class activities can drive the whole park activities, do their best to protect the environment, let more people know the dangers of waste batteries to environmental protection, understand the truth of unified recycling, and achieve better social effects.
Arbor Day (March 12) On the one hand, we let children know about the benefits of trees and afforestation, and guide them to watch videos about afforestation and forest destruction. Activities, through which children can understand the use of paper and the principle of papermaking, and understand that wasting paper is an act of polluting the environment, and everyone must save paper. In How to Save Paper, we also designed a game of "I play newspaper" to let children know that a lot of waste paper can be reused. We also specially designed a waste paper basket box for children, put all the waste paper into the waste paper basket, and count and compare the amount of paper wasted by the class in one day. So now everything in the class is clean and tidy. Where there are scraps of paper, children will take the initiative to pick them up. If the tap water leaks, they will run to turn it off. The teacher will turn off the lights when they leave the classroom. Every day, the children will water the greening of the natural corner under the guidance of the teacher. We also strive to create conditions to cultivate children's good behavior habits and hang them in classrooms and kindergartens to remind children at all times, which not only beautifies the environment, but also promotes environmental protection.
3. Home cooperation to cultivate children's awareness of environmental protection.
Parents are the first teachers of the children. They have been in close contact with their children for a long time, and everything they say and do has a subtle influence on them. We attach importance to the influence of family environment on children's environmental protection education and strive to realize the synchronization of family education. Some parents have poor awareness of environmental protection, and some parents turn a blind eye to their children's behavior of destroying the environment, which will inevitably lead to differences in family education goals. Therefore, when we hold a parent-teacher conference, we will learn about environmental protection with parents and publicize the importance of environmental protection, so that parents can know that environmental protection has become the focus of attention of all mankind and awaken their awareness of environmental protection. During the activity, we asked parents and children to collect all kinds of waste paper together, recycle paper with waste paper, and educate children not to waste paper and litter at will, collect all kinds of coke bottles and cans, and make all kinds of outdoor toys, such as small trailers, tensioners and electric drills. Through the family contact column, parents are regularly introduced to the objectives of environmental education at this stage, and parents are encouraged to help their children consolidate various good environmental behaviors at home.
It is a long-term and arduous task to cultivate children's thoughts of sustainable development, habits of life, study and behavior required by sustainable development, and children's spirit of exploration, global awareness, sense of ownership and sense of responsibility for human sustainable development, which requires us to continue our efforts for a long time and seriously.
