Official website of Weinan Education Bureau showed that Zhang, a science student from Heyang Middle School, won the first place in Weinan City with 687 points, and Xiao Yu, a student from Heyang Middle School, won the first place in Weinan City with a total score of 653 points. Heyang Middle School, founded in 19 16, is the earliest county middle school in Shaanxi Province. The new school just put into use covers an area of 330 mu, with 89 classes and more than 7,000 students. In 2003, it was approved by the Provincial Department of Education as a provincial-level standardized high school, in 2004 it was recognized as an experimental school of modern educational technology in Shaanxi Province, and in 2005 it was named Wenming by the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government.
