Tea science:
Cultivate high-level technical talents of tea science who have the basic theories, knowledge and skills of agricultural biological science, food science and tea science, can work in tea production and processing, scientific research, teaching and marketing management departments, have a solid theoretical foundation, rich relevant knowledge and certain production practice skills, are fully developed morally, intellectually and physically, and are full of innovative spirit. This major lasts for four years and is awarded a bachelor's degree in agriculture.
Food science and engineering:
Cultivate senior engineering and technical personnel who have knowledge of chemistry, biology, food engineering and food technology, can engage in food production, storage and transportation, management, scientific research, design and new product development in the food field, and have the basic abilities of food preservation, processing, enterprise management and comprehensive utilization of resources. This major lasts for four years and is awarded with a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Packaging engineering:
Cultivate compound senior engineering and technical personnel who have the ability to design and manage packaging advertising system and can engage in packaging system design, quality inspection, technical management and scientific research, advertising planning, advertising design and corporate image planning in commodity production and circulation departments, packaging enterprises, scientific research institutions, foreign trade, commodity inspection and other departments. This major lasts for four years and is awarded with a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Food quality and safety:
Cultivate senior professional and technical personnel who have the basic theories and skills of food science and food testing, are familiar with the international food quality and safety system and standard system, can engage in food quality and safety testing, evaluation, control, supervision, management and scientific research, and have the basic abilities of food and catering safety production, quality monitoring and enterprise management. This major lasts for four years and is awarded with a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Tea culture:
Founded in 1999 and 200 1, it became a national demonstration major in higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, and it is the only tea culture major in colleges and universities in China, with a two-year academic system. This major trains advanced applied and skilled talents who are mainly engaged in tea culture propaganda, tea performance, marketing, enterprise management, image planning, packaging and advertising in tourism, star-rated hotels, restaurants and cultural entertainment industries. Postgraduate education reform: one of the important signs of the level and level of running a school is the quantity and quality of graduate students. Therefore, it is necessary to intensify the reform of postgraduate education, improve the conditions of experiments and research, and increase the number of professors who undertake projects of considerable scale. The main contents of the reform include: (1) realizing postgraduate and doctoral studies as soon as possible. (2) Actively promote laboratory construction and improve the efficiency of running a school. (3) Require doctoral students to improve the quality of published papers.
Enrollment scale: In 2006, 88 graduate students and 6 doctoral students were enrolled. It is planned to recruit 1 10 master students and 10 doctoral students in 2007.
