Tao Xingzhi's Main Educational Thoughts
Tao Xingzhi's main educational thoughts are as follows:

Guo Moruo once thought that Tao Xingzhi was a famous educator in China. He was once rated as a "great people's educator" by /Xi, called "Ni two thousand years ago, Tao Xingzhi two thousand years later", and/ling even rated him as a "model for future generations". Through the evaluation of Mr. Tao Xingzhi by many celebrities, we can also know that Tao Xingzhi's educational thought has far-reaching influence on our country.

Tao Xingzhi's educational thoughts are very rich. Here, let's first introduce Mr. Tao Xingzhi's core ideas and theories. Now let's walk into the knowledge world of great educators. Mr. Tao Xingzhi's main ideas can be simply summarized as: one theory, three principles, four spirits and five propositions.

Tao Xingzhi's theory of one: Tao Xingzhi's theory of one refers to the theory of life education, which can also be called the general name of Tao Xingzhi's important thought.

Tao Xingzhi's "three principles" refer to: life is education, society is school, and teaching and learning are integrated. What is life as education? Tao Xingzhi believes that the content of our education comes from life, and he puts forward that education should revolve around and rely on life, so as to transform life. Therefore, we can also call this idea the ontology or origin theory of life education theory.

Society is the school. Due to the backward economy and lack of resources in China at that time, Tao Xingzhi thought that society itself could be regarded as a big school, and education should adapt to the needs of society and rely on social forces to develop, so it could also be called the place theory of life education theory.

Tao Xingzhi believes that teaching and practice are inseparable in life. He believes that how to do things, let students learn how to do things, and how students learn to do things, teachers should teach them how to do things. Doing things is the source of learning and teaching, so this is the method/theory of life education theory.

Tao Xingzhi's four spirits: first, we should have the spirit of great love of "loving the whole world"; Secondly, the dedication of "holding a heart without half a blade of grass" is once again the creative spirit of "dare to explore new ideas that have not been invented and dare to enter the frontier of uncivilized"; Then there is the truth-seeking spirit of "teaching thousands of people to seek truth, learning everything and being a real person".

Tao Xingzhi's five propositions: Tao Xingzhi's original name was Tao Xingzhi. When he was young, he was influenced by Wang Yangming's theory of "unity of knowledge and action", so he changed his name to "unity of knowledge and action". When he entered middle age, he realized something through erudition, turned Wang Yangming's theory that "knowing is the beginning of doing, and doing is the achievement of knowing" into a somersault, put forward the viewpoint that "doing is the beginning of knowing, and knowing is the achievement of doing", and formally and solemnly announced its name change as "Xingzhi".

This not only shows his intelligence and wisdom, but also reflects his dialectical materialist worldview of "being thirsty for knowledge and doing more with knowledge". Therefore, he put forward five ideas: knowing is the beginning, working hard, teaching others to teach themselves, that is, knowing is passing on, and getting rid of it.
