How to deal with the challenge of internationalization of education?
The internationalization of education is the marginal product of economic globalization. I think the basic goal of education internationalization is to promote mutual understanding, exchange and cooperation and coordinated development of education worldwide. What is an important development feature of internationalization?

In terms of human resources, the number of international students has increased rapidly, and the international flow of teachers has obviously accelerated; In terms of material resources, with the rapid growth of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects and institutions, the transnational flow and dissemination of these international courses, teaching materials, courseware and other teaching resources have accelerated; More importantly, in this process, it is bound to be accompanied by the transnational spread and integration of modern educational concepts, advanced training models, teaching management models and student affairs management models.

How to deal with the challenge of internationalization of education?

First, we should grasp the general trend of world education development.

In terms of educational development, governments around the world are now concerned about two points, namely, educational fairness and quality. Although the national conditions and educational systems are different, countries learn from each other in the process of integration and have also formed some common development.

For example, all countries attach great importance to advocating student-centered learning, cultivating students' critical thinking, attaching importance to the integration of internet technology and education and teaching, guiding students' autonomous learning and cooperative learning, promoting teachers' professional development, strengthening education construction, improving the monitoring and evaluation of education and teaching quality, and improving the quality of running schools.

Second, we should strengthen strategic thinking.

We should broaden our international horizons, enhance teachers' and students' awareness of international competition, and pay attention to cultivating teachers' and students' multicultural understanding, communication, exchange and cooperation. Carrying out various forms of international exchanges and cooperation and improving the level of running schools and international influence in a down-to-earth manner are the key considerations in the process of promoting the internationalization of education.

Third, explore the localization of international experience.

For example, we should respect students' choices and the development of their psychological characteristics, so that students can break through the current narrow set and pay more attention to society and life. It is necessary to infiltrate the concept of international education into the practice of running schools and provide diversified opportunities for all students, not just a few students who want to go abroad. It is clear how to improve teachers' professional quality and how teachers can guide students' career planning, subject exploration, autonomous learning and cross-cultural academic exchange. Promote the promotion of China's excellent culture and the expansion of excellent educational resources, and make China contribution to the internationalization of education.

Every question has two sides. On the one hand, we should learn from foreign advanced successful experiences and effective practices and improve our own education in combination with the school situation.
