Civil servants who participate in the national examination for recruiting and training grassroots political and legal police officers and work in grassroots political and legal organs below the county (district) level according to targeted posts and training agreements. Grassroots political and legal police officers are recruited for political and legal categories and police services. They are mainly exams for fresh graduates and veterans. They are recruited and trained by grassroots political and legal organs. It is generally recruited for prisons, grassroots police and judicial police.

The recruitment procedure is the same as that of ordinary civil servants, but after the recruitment, they have to go to the designated institutions for two years of professional training, free of tuition and subsidized during the study period. After graduation, graduate students should serve at the grassroots level for 5 years, undergraduate for 7 years and junior college for 9 years.

After that, I will take the recruitment examination of political and legal police every September. After admission, I will go to college for two years. The state will distribute bedding and clothes free of charge. The first-class living allowance is 800-2500 yuan per month, and tuition fees are exempted. After graduation, I will get the civil service establishment and work in the position I applied for. Positions include court, procuratorate cadres and bailiffs, public security officers, judicial cadres and prison guards.

The content of the examination is the administrative professional ability test and the application test. Candidates who apply for the college are required to take the cultural integration (history, geography, politics) exam; Civil law in undergraduate stage; Candidates applying for a master's degree in law are required to take professional comprehensive (criminal law, civil law) and professional comprehensive (jurisprudence, China's constitutional law, Chinese legal history) exams.
