First, about choosing a school:
Reasons for postgraduate entrance examination: I really want to continue my studies and find a better job. I belong to the second category. In my junior year, I carefully analyzed my comprehensive strength. I don't think I can do my job well for the time being. I'd better continue studying for two years to make up for my shortcomings and improve my ability. Therefore, I chose to take the chemistry as a graduate student. In fact, whatever the reason, it is ultimately to make yourself better.
Choosing a school: I think twice about choosing Hushi Normal University for the following reasons: First, Hushi Normal University is a double-class normal college, which is a better learning platform for me; Secondly, the second major of chemistry in Hohhot Teachers College is general chemistry. As far as I'm concerned, I'm more sure about the study of general chemistry than the theory of chemistry teaching. Finally, I really like the city of Changsha and hope to have the opportunity to study and live in Changsha. I decided to take the entrance examination of Hu Normal University at the end of March or early April. Because I had to finish my graduation thesis at that time, I officially started preparing for the exam at the end of April or early May.
Second, about English:
Learning order: words-long sentence grammar-reading-cloze-translation of new questions-composition
Word: Zhu Wei's "Love with Words"
I listened to Zhu Wei's version 18 word class.
Grammar is long and difficult: Jing Tian's Reading the True Classics by Sentences, with Jing Tian's class, is really super good. Learning grammar well is also very helpful for writing a composition in the future. If you have a good foundation, you don't need to learn this piece.
Reading: Tang Chi's reading class (Uncle Tang's skills are really useful! ) English yellow book, I think this one takes the longest time. I started studying in April. At first, I practiced my feelings by reading the real questions of English One. I read a real English question from 2000 to 65438+2007. After reading it, I translated it sentence by sentence, which is a long and difficult sentence splitting exercise and translation exercise, and I can translate it accurately. But you should arrange it according to your own time. If you don't have time, you can start reading English II directly from July to August.
Gestalt: Compared with other teachers, the video lesson I listened to by Song Yixuan was shorter and more pithy, so I can study after 10.
Translation: Teacher Tang Jing's translation class in New Oriental. 5438+ 10 After listening to the class in June, I translated a real question every day. New question type: 10 English two true questions, I only made one or two mistakes, so I didn't take this part of the class.
Composition: Jiang's composition book, Lei Peng's composition class. My composition started a little late. Look at Lao Jiang's composition book for the small composition, and listen to Shi Leipeng's class for the big composition. He will teach a writing template and put everything in it. Composition, like words, is a lot of rote learning. Other students around me use Wang Jiangtao's composition books and classes, which look very good, but I don't know much about them. Just choose the right one yourself.
Don't do the real English questions in the last three years, save them for the mock exam in the future. The mock exam is not only to do questions, but more importantly, to pay attention to getting yourself into the examination room and form your own order of doing questions. What is the order of doing the questions in the simulation and the order of doing the questions in the exam?
There are two ways to suggest the order of doing the questions:
1. Small composition-big composition-reading-new question type-translation-gestalt;
2. Second Reading-Small Composition-Second Reading-Big Composition-New Question Type-Translation-Cloze.
The latter method is what I heard in Mr Jing Tian's class a few days before the exam. Reading is an input to oneself, and writing is an output. Personally experience the exam, in fact, I recommend the second method. Because I have been using the first method, I kept the order of doing the questions in the exam. I write my composition first, and when I write a big composition, the keywords get stuck. I can't remember that word anyway. I have no choice but to write a sports report. After I finished writing my composition, I met this word in reading, but the composition has been finished, and the punishment for doodling is more serious. If I can't change it, I can only do so.
I once heard a teacher say that if I didn't learn English well, I must have spent insufficient time. English depends on accumulation and precipitation. Words are recited one by one, read and write one by one, and translate one by one. Believe that you will always gain something. English is the course that I spend the longest time on. I have recited the words more than 30 times. I did five rounds of reading, two or three rounds of translation and two rounds of new questions. I have recited this composition over and over again. Just keep learning.
Third, political study.
Books used: Xiao Xiurong's "Family Fight"
Xu Tao predicted 20 questions before the exam.
Eight sets of volumes; Lu Yufeng recited the manual.
1.Start preparing for the summer vacation in July. I bought Xiao Da's intensive reading class, 1000. Through the video study of Xu Tao's intensive reading class, I found his class very interesting and easy to understand. I learned a chapter and practiced a chapter on the topic. The first time I wrote the answer in the draft book, and the second time I wrote it in a notebook with a pencil. The wrong questions in the first two times will have different colors. Spent a lot of time on multiple-choice questions.
2. On June 5438+065438+ 10, I practiced the exercises of Xiao Xiurong's eight volumes and Xu Tao's eight volumes, and began to recite some test sites summarized in Xiao Xiurong's recitation manual and Sister Leg's recitation manual. WeChat official account, Leg Sister, brush one or two questions with her every night before going to bed and apply the skills in the skills class. In February 65438, I reviewed eight sets of multiple-choice questions and previous wrong questions, and recited big questions, mainly four sets of papers by Xiao Xiurong and 20 questions by Xu Tao. Teacher Xiao Xiurong's bet is really amazing! !
About specialized courses:
1 and 333 learning:
Books: Textbook Principles of Pedagogy
educational psychology
History of Education in China
foreign education
The course that gives me the biggest headache is probably "333 Comprehensive Education", because there are too many things to recite, and I am not good at reciting, so I often feel nauseous. As a standard science student, he is really not good at reciting, and his efficiency is extremely low, so he can't fully implement the plan. I didn't read four reference books completely until the beginning of July, and then I read them again in July. During the period, I supplemented the information books I understood. I began to recite it for the first time in early August. I spend two hours reciting every morning, one hour reading the related textbooks recited in the morning and reviewing the recited contents in the evening. It was not until the eleventh holiday that I finished reciting the first time, and the actual memory effect was not good. So I began to recite according to Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve, which was slow but good. Then 1 1 I recited it for the second time at the end of the month, and I basically grasped the knowledge points firmly. Since1February, the recitation time of 333 has been compressed a lot, and I didn't finish reciting it for the third time before the exam. Also, you'd better pay more attention to educational hotspots before the exam. When you see the hot spots in education, you will contact the relevant pedagogy content and extract them in your notebook or materials. Everyone must adjust their study plan according to their actual situation. If someone is as bad at reciting as I am, I can also try to "listen to books". There is another point that is particularly important. Although 333 is a liberal arts, it also has a logical line. It is recommended to read more books, look at the table of contents before reading, sort out the knowledge points of each chapter and sort out the logical context of each book. For example, the history of education, with the development of time, education continues to develop and improve. With the development of the times, educators of all ages have put forward their own educational views. When reading a book for the first time, don't try to write down all the knowledge points. It's impossible. I suggest you study with a happy mood! Learning itself is a very happy thing. When you enjoy it, your learning efficiency will be higher!
2, general chemistry:
Books: General Chemistry, Sixth Edition, Guide to Solving Problems in General Chemistry (although this is a book supporting the fifth edition, I personally recommend this edition. I read the solution of the problem set in the sixth edition, and there are many mistakes in it, so I still recommend this one. I feel very sad about the second major. When the enrollment brochure was published at the end of September, I found that the chemistry teaching theory was obviously tested before the second major course, and suddenly it became general chemistry. We haven't learned this book as an undergraduate, and we don't know what it is. Especially helpless and confused, coupled with many things and great pressure during that time, the whole person collapsed a little, sitting alone in the corner of the study room crying silently. I didn't know what a reference book was until the outline was published in June 5438+00.
The reference book given in the syllabus is the sixth edition of General Chemistry published by Zhejiang University, but I bought the seventh edition at first. I have seen both versions, and the content is similar. If you buy it, you can only buy the sixth edition. The problem solutions bought together are three versions of the fifth edition, which are not exactly the same after class. Anyway, I have brushed them two or three times. I have read the reference books in the seventh edition two or three times and the reference books in the sixth edition five or six times. I also read some books on inorganic chemistry, supplemented a lot of notes, and watched some videos of massive open online courses (I have seen several schools, but I have to understand all the knowledge points in the books anyway).
I also looked up the real questions of general chemistry in other schools on the Internet and did some learning exercises (mainly the general chemistry questions of Sun Yat-sen University). Before the exam, I made a framework for the whole book, arranged a note and reviewed the knowledge points.
Looking back on the exam now, I personally think we should read the book General Chemistry through. 95% of them are knowledge points in general chemistry books, and they are carefully tested, and even the selected reading materials have problems. The questions in the exam may be a little more difficult than the exercises after class, but as long as you understand the knowledge thoroughly, the questions can still be worked out. Organic chemistry has 5% (fill in the blanks twice). Michael's addition and rearrangement), so if my brothers and sisters are still taking organic chemistry classes at school, learn organic well. Inorganic and organic are really, really important!
I don't think the course of general chemistry needs to recite many things like educational synthesis, but the four chemists need to understand it. Everyone is in the chemistry department, you know, sometimes problems get stuck. If there are friends who can help each other, we can get through, so that we can find friends who have learned a lot around us or ask more questions in the group. At the same time, remember to correct the bad habit of doing problems and pay attention to the format of solving problems. General chemistry is not difficult to learn, but the knowledge points are trivial and extensive, so you need to take more notes and summarize more.
Fourth, about the second interview:
This year, our second interview preparation time can be said to be the longest. It took more than three months from the initial test results to the online retest. Although it will take a long time, it is very tiring because of the uncertainty of the epidemic situation and the form of the second interview, and the study efficiency at home is not high. Finally, I consulted an experienced senior and successfully re-examined.
Self-introduction in Chinese and English: Generally, it takes three minutes offline and two minutes online.
Specialized courses: inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.
Education-related topics: pay attention to educational hotspots and put forward your own views.
Frequently asked questions: such as graduate school planning, reasons for choosing schools, etc.
As long as you have confidence, the second interview is not difficult.
It's really not easy to look back on the past year. Not only is it the pressure of postgraduate entrance examination, but also because of the epidemic situation, we practiced for a whole month in June 5438+10 (formerly summer internship), and we had to go to the experimental class one month before postgraduate entrance examination, and we were still in the innovation and entrepreneurship class one week before postgraduate entrance examination, so the already insufficient study time was compressed again and again. But I am the kind of person who, once I have made up my mind to accomplish something, will strive to achieve it. I want to go to graduate school. I have collapsed countless times along the way, and I have never thought about giving up. I just insist on it. I have no time to squeeze time. I don't sleep before 1 every night, and it is common to study until two or three in the morning (of course, staying up late is still very discouraged, but I am the kind of night owl who studies better at night, and I am really busy during the day during my internship, so I have no time to study at all).
Although I shared my postgraduate entrance examination experience with you, this is just for your reference. The most important thing for postgraduate entrance examination is one's own persistence. Choose the learning method that suits you and stick to it. Don't give up easily because of pressure or other external reasons, because you will choose to give up when you encounter other difficulties in the future, so as long as you persist this time, you will certainly gain something. Come on! Graduate students!
