Reflection on Woolfolk's Educational Psychology (1)
Heteronomy is far superior to self-discipline. With the urging of my peers, I have been studying hard for half a century, and I am really touched.

"Psychology" was a compulsory course on university campuses in 1980s. I don't remember who wrote it, but it was the 12th edition of Woolfolk's Educational Psychology, which was recommended by many famous scholars. The first edition was published in 1980, and there seems to be no trace of such a vague title in my memory.

? I want to set a higher standard for myself. There is a satisfactory topic in the reading notes at the end of each chapter. This topic should be condensed to express my deepest feelings when reading this chapter, so as to improve my reading and writing ability. In the first week of passionate reading, in the process of repeatedly reading Psychology of Learning, Teaching and Education, what impressed me the most was the bill No Child Left Behind. In 2002, President Bush signed this bill, requiring all students in school not to be proficient in examination subjects in the 20 13-20 14 school year. I once saw an article about this bill by a scholar of Northeast Normal University on the copy materials of the National People's Congress. The Primary and Secondary Education Law re-authorizes NCLB. The main reform is to change the education system based on punishment to reward excellent teaching and students' growth, and put forward the following five priorities (1) to prepare students for further study or employment. (2) Provide excellent teachers for all schools. (3) Pay attention to education equity and ensure equal opportunities for every student. (4) Gradually raise standards and encourage outstanding talents to stand out. (5) Promote educational innovation and continuous improvement. It's really shameful to think that although the national policy is different from ours, I also recall my incomprehension of the education stated in the report of the 19th National Congress. The school is engaged in teaching and learning, and all other activities are subordinate to this goal. It also makes me think about how students and teachers should deal with learning and teaching when all kinds of electronic devices are flooding the corners of life, users are infiltrating and expanding to both ends of the population, and the new era of artificial intelligence and big data has arrived. Especially as school administrators and education administrators, we should reflect on ourselves and even construct critical thinking.

Early research found that it is family and social status, not teachers' teaching, that absolutely determines students' learning effect at school. Most researchers refused to accept the fact that "teachers are powerless in the face of poverty and social problems". The quality of teacher-student relationship has a strong correlation with students' performance in school, especially in kindergartens and primary schools. Teachers' level and love for children will affect children's life. We managers should pay attention to teachers' self-efficacy, which means that a teacher firmly believes that he has the ability to help any student, even students with learning difficulties. This self-confidence is one of the few teachers' personality characteristics that can predict students' academic performance. Even if they meet students who are difficult to teach, they will work harder and have confidence in themselves and their students. In addition, teachers with high efficiency rarely experience job burnout, and they can get more satisfaction and happiness from their work. It is very hard for people to correctly interpret happiness!

With an efficient team of teachers, in the shared cultural value system, Qi Xin works together to build high-quality teaching, which not only imparts knowledge to students with different abilities, but also pays more attention to their emotional needs, pays attention to improving self-esteem, establishes a sense of responsibility, considers the diversity and differences of students in teaching, teaches students in accordance with their aptitude, and gains professional happiness.

In addition, this chapter also dabbles in many functions, concepts and research methods of educational psychology. I won't say them one by one, but I believe that reading some books quietly and listening to the words of saints is the right choice.
