In China, juvenile legal education still faces multiple challenges: lack of depth of legal form, low participation of family and society, emphasis on preaching and neglect of practice, and vague awareness of legal education. All these have hindered the effective promotion of juvenile law popularization. So, how should we solve these problems? This paper will introduce the operating mechanism of juvenile legal education in detail from three aspects: establishing long-term mechanism, deepening legal publicity and adhering to core principles.

Establish a long-term mechanism

It is necessary to integrate schools, families, society and other forces to ensure that the law popularization work is organized, targeted and guaranteed. Only by establishing a long-term mechanism can the work of popularizing law be more powerful and effective.

Deepen legal publicity

We can use campus activities, legal knowledge contests and other forms to make every student learn, know, understand, abide by and protect the law. At the same time, it is necessary to hire part-time vice presidents of law and legal counselors for young students to guide them to establish a correct outlook on life and society.

Adhere to the core principles

We need to accurately locate the work of popularizing law, strengthen coordination and guidance of all parties, adhere to the principle of people-oriented and prevention-oriented, and plan and implement it simultaneously with cultural knowledge education. Only by adhering to the core principles can the work of popularizing law be more targeted and effective.
