It is not terrible to "record what you don't want" for a while. The terrible thing is that you still don't know your interests after entering the university. If judging the right or wrong of a major is not based on a person's inner desire, but on what major is popular and what major seems to have a better employment situation, it is likely to lead to repeated mistakes. It was blind to choose a major at first, and then it was blind to change majors.
Because major is never synonymous with dreams, the same major does not mean the same fate. Generally speaking, the major of university studies and the final occupation are often not right. It may be better to understand the significance of university specialty by treating the university as a process of expanding horizons and cultivating ways of thinking, rather than a vocational training camp. Universities are full of possibilities, and there is no universal rule that can tell us what is the best major to choose. Perhaps, it will still be entangled between schools and majors, or it will face the contradiction between interest and employment. However, perhaps the significance of choosing a major itself is greater than choosing any major.
