New Theory: Eight Strategies for Promoting All-discipline and All-literacy Reading

The curriculum of extracurricular reading has become a consensus. Due to the differences in cognition, concept and vision, the construction and implementation of reading curriculum system presents two tenses. One is to take Chinese teachers as the leading factor and literary literacy (humanistic literacy) as the main goal, referred to as literary reading; One is the participation of general practice teachers, which is oriented to improve the quality of subjects, referred to as general practice reading. With the introduction and implementation of core literacy, the construction and implementation of extracurricular reading curriculum system should be iteratively upgraded to: teacher collaboration, cross-border reading and project reading, aiming at improving students' all-round literacy, which can be called holistic reading or all-round literacy reading. It can be seen that the curriculum of extracurricular reading is the general trend, and the iterative upgrading of extracurricular reading from literature reading to subject reading to all-round literacy reading is the general trend. Therefore, this paper puts forward eight strategies to promote all-round reading.

1. Develop the syllabus of comprehensive reading at school level under the background of core literacy. The outline can be compiled from the perspectives of setting background, curriculum system, curriculum resources development, reading habits, reading methods, reading interests, reading objectives, reading bibliography classification, reading evaluation and reading files.

2. Extracurricular reading is not only for Chinese teachers, but also for all teachers in all subjects. We advocate reading in all disciplines, developing all-round reading curriculum resources and compiling reading curriculum resource packages in corresponding disciplines.

3. Carry out reading activities in various disciplines. Before reading together, subject teachers should prepare reading guidance outlines. During the same reading, students can write notes on the theme reading, and after the same reading, they can hold a reading exchange and sharing meeting.

4, the implementation of evaluation and promotion of small family study (small book corner) plan, to create environment and conditions for children's family reading. Small study standard: there is an independent room (corner), a desk lamp, a desk, a square, a bookshelf and 20 books. 6. Pay attention to the golden reading period on Sundays and holidays. Reduce rote learning, repeat inefficient subject assignments, and enlarge and increase subject reading assignments; Explore the flip mode of reading at home during holidays and sharing communication at school.

7. Use mind map and 5R notes to improve the efficiency of reading, digestion and absorption. Can guide students to draw chapters, the whole book structure, plot, content mind map, so that students can read, record and absorb with 5R notes.

8. Introduce innovative evaluations such as reading QQ coins, reading bank passbook, reading grades, and choosing three bachelors (bachelor, master, doctor).
