Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University was established in June 2004. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it is co-sponsored by Nanjing Normal University and Taizhou Municipal People's Government. Since the establishment of the hospital, with the care, help and support from all walks of life, it has achieved fruitful results. In the ranking of national independent colleges completed by the research group of "China University Evaluation" of Chinese Academy of Management Sciences (chaired by Wu Shulian), during the three years from 20 18 to 2020, the comprehensive strength of colleges ranked 17, 18 and 16 in China, and 2, 3 and 2 in Jiangsu respectively.
Second, the introduction of law schools.
In 2004, Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University established the Department of Law and Politics, set up the undergraduate law major and began to recruit students. In 2008, due to the development of disciplines and majors, the Department of Law and Politics was transformed into a law school. The law school has undergraduate law majors (including economic and trade law, pharmaceutical law, intellectual property law and other professional directions) and administrative management majors (including education administration, enterprise management, community management and other directions), and strives to cultivate high-quality applied talents. Graduates are mainly distributed in public posts, law firms, public security departments and other enterprises and institutions. At present, there are 38 teachers, including 22 with senior titles, all with master's degree or above, and 22 "double-qualified" (lawyer's license, intellectual property teacher's license and university teacher's license) teachers with double certificates or long-term work in practical departments. Among them, 1 teachers were hired as legal advisers of Taizhou Municipal Committee, and 2 teachers were hired as members of Taizhou Municipal Committee's expert database of laws and regulations.
Since its establishment, Law School has been committed to serving Taizhou's economic and social development. Established intellectual property talents in Jiangsu Province, representatives of Taizhou Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Taizhou legal talents training base, and academic research platforms such as cross-strait medical law academic seminar, medical law research society of Jiangsu Law Society and Taizhou local legislation research society.
The College actively promotes the legislative work in Taizhou, and the Taizhou Local Legislative Research Institute provides research, demonstration and evaluation services for the legislative work of Taizhou People's Congress. Since its establishment, the Institute has presided over nine legislative projects, including the Regulations of Taizhou Municipality on Civilized Behavior and the Regulations of Taizhou Municipality on Residential Property Management. He presided over four post-legislative evaluation projects, including the post-legislative evaluation of Taizhou Public Credit Information Regulations and the post-legislative evaluation of Taizhou Housing Safety Management Regulations, and actively contributed local wisdom to the construction of Taizhou under the rule of law.
Relying on the professional advantages, he undertook the task of compiling the intellectual property development plan in Taizhou during the 14 th Five-Year Plan period and played an active role in the intellectual property development field in Taizhou.
Since the promulgation of the Civil Code, Wu Wenjun, Dean of the Law School, has given lectures to Taizhou Finance Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, Emergency Management Bureau, Audit Bureau and other units for more than ten times.
Legal aid organizations such as the Public Service Center for Legal Aid, Taizhou Intellectual Property Volunteer Service Team, Taizhou Rainbow Umbrella and Feng Ying Public Welfare Association have been established to carry out targeted publicity activities on the rule of law and continuously expand the coverage of publicity and education on the rule of law.
