The School of Physical Science and Technology of Suzhou University is one of the secondary colleges affiliated to Suzhou University, located in the main campus of Suzhou University with beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Department of Physics of Soochow University and was founded in 19 14. 1952, the national department was adjusted and renamed the physics department of Jiangsu Normal University. 1982 changed to physics department of Suzhou university. 1995 Suzhou university was restructured, and the Department of Physics was renamed the College of Physical Science and Technology. From June, 5438 to February, 2009, the School of Energy was established, which was attached to the School of Physical Science and Technology. As of 2009, the Institute of Physical Science and Technology has developed into a comprehensive college with a complete school-running system to train undergraduate, master, doctoral and postdoctoral students, and has gained a good reputation in discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research and social services.
