Isolated education:
Compared with returning to mainstream education, it is a special form of educational placement. A title used by supporters of the return of the original special education form to the mainstream education. From18th century to the middle of 20th century, it was the main form of education for disabled students.
When disabled children are placed in specially established special education schools, students are taken care of according to their characteristics, but their activities are restricted and they have little contact with healthy students and society. In 1990s, some developed countries in Europe and America gradually became the non-main form of special education. In some countries, special education schools are still the main form of special education.
