Gu Yuxiu's main experience

In the fourth year of the Republic of China (19 15), Gu Yuxiu entered Tsinghua School, in the twelfth year of the Republic of China (1923), he went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to specialize in electrical engineering, and in the seventeenth year of the Republic of China (1928), he received his doctorate. After returning to China, he worked as a professor in Zhejiang University, Central University, Tsinghua University and other schools, head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, and dean of the Institute of Technology.

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, he was then Minister of State Affairs of the Ministry of Education of the National Government and President of the Central University. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he served as Director education bureau of shanghai and President of National Chengchi University. From 65438 to 0950, he taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later served as a tenured professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Since 1970s, he has returned to China as an honorary professor in more than ten schools, including Tsinghua, Peking University, Nanjing University and Zhejiang University.
