Introduction of National Multimedia Education Software Grand Prix
The National Multimedia Education Software Grand Prix (hereinafter referred to as the "Grand Prix") began at 1998, and gradually grew up in the process of promoting educational informationization and attaching importance to and strengthening the construction of educational resources. It has a wide influence, covering all levels and types of education, and is a major event for teachers and professional and technical personnel. The guiding ideology of "Grand Prix" is to improve teachers' educational technology and network application ability, teachers' information literacy and software production level, promote the integration of information technology and subject teaching, and promote the wide application of information technology in education and teaching. The "Grand Prix" is guided by the relevant business departments of the Ministry of Education. The first to fourth sessions were sponsored by the Central Audio-visual Education Office, and the fifth to eighth sessions were jointly sponsored by the Central Audio-visual Education Office and the Basic Curriculum Textbook Development Center of the Ministry of Education. In 2005, with the integration of some functions of the development center of basic courses and teaching materials into the central hall, the Grand Prix was independently undertaken by the Central Audio-visual Education Office from the ninth session, and the specific work was undertaken by the organizing committee office of the Grand Prix.
