In order to strengthen the macro management of medical education quality, promote the teaching reform of medical specialty, improve the quality of medical professionals, establish China's medical education certification system, and carry out medical professional certification, after research, our department decided to set up the Medical Education Certification Expert Committee of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Expert Committee) and the Clinical Medical Professional Certification Working Committee of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Working Committee). The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Responsibilities of the Committee of Experts

The duties of the Committee of Experts are: to study the policies and measures for establishing China's medical education certification system, put forward the overall plan for carrying out medical professional certification, guide all medical professional certification committees to carry out professional certification, participate in international exchanges and cooperation in medical education certification, provide policy advice and services for educational administrative departments, guide medical colleges to carry out medical professional certification, and undertake related matters entrusted by our department.

Two. Responsibilities of the working Committee

The duties of the Working Committee are: to study and formulate the methods and standards for clinical medical professional certification in China, organize and carry out clinical medical professional certification, participate in international exchanges and cooperation in clinical medical professional certification, guide medical colleges to carry out clinical medical professional certification, and undertake related matters entrusted by our department and expert committees. The Working Committee has a secretariat, which is responsible for the daily work of the Committee.

The units and schools where members of expert committees and working committees work shall actively support their work and provide necessary working conditions. Medical colleges and universities should actively cooperate with expert committees and working committees to do a good job in certification.
