College teachers attach importance to knowledge service, and different fields have different division of labor.
According to the Ministry of Education, college teachers can actively carry out voluntary service activities such as knowledge service, scientific popularization, cultural propaganda, policy consultation and professional training, and provide intellectual support and technical services for the country's economic and social development.
Retired teachers can go to schools, communities and weak rural areas to carry out voluntary service activities such as traditional education of youth revolution, mentoring teaching skills, promoting traditional culture and caring for the next generation.
Carry out volunteer activities with students, and educate people while serving.
According to the Ministry of Education, teachers' individual volunteer service should be unified with team volunteer service, enhance the ability of collaborative service, better meet the diverse needs of clients, and gradually form a team of teachers' volunteer service with diverse types, distinctive features and obvious functions.
Teacher volunteer service and student volunteer service should be unified. On the basis of taking the lead in participating in voluntary service, teachers should guide and help students to carry out voluntary service activities and form effective practical education results.
By unifying teachers' short-term volunteer service and long-term volunteer service, schools can establish long-term exchange and cooperation volunteer service bases in areas or units that accept volunteer service. Through systematic and lasting volunteer service, teachers can go deep into the grassroots and frontline, enhance their sense of social responsibility, and make volunteer service a new way for teachers to grow up.
