Liping county decided to run a middle school by itself. Liping County Middle School was established in the spring of the 21st year of the Republic of China after years of preparation (1932). On March 22nd of that year, Peng Sizhen, the first principal, issued the first enrollment notice, enrolling junior high school and junior high school teachers 1 class respectively (attached). The simple teachers' class is a dropout from the former five-county joint middle school, who graduated in 1 year and was mostly employed as a primary school teacher after graduation. Since then, students from Rongjiang, Jinping, Jianhe, Yongcong and Xiajiang in Hunan, neighboring counties, Jingzhou, Tongdao, Huitong, Sanjiang and Chang 'an in Guangxi have come to study in Liping, and Liping County Middle School became the talent training base in the border area of Guizhou, Hunan and Guangxi at that time. .
After the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, some schools in the enemy war zone moved to the mainland, and Qixia Rural Normal School in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province moved to Qingyan Town, Guiyang. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), he moved to Rongjiang County in the autumn, and was renamed as the National Guizhou Normal School (referred to as "National Teacher"). At the same time, the Ministry of Education instructed Huang Zhifu, president of the National Normal University, to open the National Guizhou Normal Branch in Liping County. Because of the difficulty in establishing a branch school, Liping County Middle School was renamed as "National Guizhou Normal School Liping Branch" (referred to as "Shiguo Branch"), and Huang Zhifu was also the principal. At that time, Liping County Middle School had a class of Grade One, Grade Two and Grade Three, with 150 students. After being renamed the National Teachers' Branch, a teacher training class was held in the third grade to train primary school teachers. In the spring of the 33rd year of the Republic of China (1944), the National Normal School was closed due to insufficient funds for running schools, with a total of 154 graduates. This year, Liping County Middle School resumed immediately, with Xie Zhongliang and Zhu Xian as principals. Just a few months later, Zhao Xuexuan was appointed as the principal.
In the thirty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1946), Liping county middle school began to recruit senior middle school classes and was upgraded to a complete middle school. Every year, 1 class is enrolled, and by 1949, 4 classes are enrolled. By 1950, two classes graduated.

In 2003, the national third-level normal schools (normal schools, normal colleges and normal universities) began to gradually transition to second-level normal schools. According to the situation of two secondary normal schools in Qiandongnan Prefecture, the government handed over Liping National Normal School to Liping County as a provincial model high school in the form of document No.256 of the state government letter (2003). Liping County Party Committee Office (2003) 17, No.1 People's Middle School moved to Liping Normal School for Nationalities in July.
