Zheng worked hard in the field of teaching for 36 years and served as a teacher in the ninth graduating class of senior three. He has participated in the training of 9 college entrance examination champions and independently trained 2 college entrance examination champions. In 2005, he was rated as an outstanding figure in the world by the International Celebrity Exchange Center, an excellent ideological and political teacher in Guangdong Province, the top ten star principals in the first national middle school in 2006, and the top 100 outstanding figures in the fifth China Reform. In 2007, he was rated as an advanced individual in the national campus culture, a leader of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, and an outstanding educator in South Guangdong. He has won the National Top 100 Innovative Principals Award and is the principal of the basic education system in Guangdong Province. In 2009, Governor Zheng was named "the pride of China people and the person with the most sense of mission". Guangdong Province May 1st Labor Medal, national advanced worker in education and scientific research.

In the "Pride of China People with the Most Sense of Mission", President Zheng was selected as "Pride of China People with the Most Sense of Mission" and "Pride of China People with the Most Sense of Mission", which were divided into two parts: before and after liberation.
