Jiangsu Normal School Students' Teaching Basic Skills Competition, sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, is the highest-level, largest and most comprehensive normal school students' teaching basic skills competition in the province and has become a brand activity in the field of teacher education.

Under the careful and systematic training of leaders and instructors of Nanjing Xiaozhuang, the students achieved excellent results in this competition, among which Zhao Hengyi won the first prize in the middle school group, Zhang Guangyuan won the second prize in the primary school group, and Liu Tianyu won the third prize in the primary school group.

Based on moral education and guided by socialist core values, Jiangsu Normal School Students' Teaching Basic Skills Competition serves students' all-round development, enhances their comprehensive quality, improves their aesthetic and humanistic quality, helps students to have fun in physical exercise and aesthetic education, strengthens their physique, perfects their personality and temper their will, and strives to cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty.

Competition is not only the fundamental goal of strengthening and improving the aesthetic education of physical education in schools in the new period, but also the fundamental follow-up and direction of the teaching reform of physical beauty of music in colleges and universities. It is a concentrated test of the quality of talent training for normal students majoring in music physical beauty in colleges and universities in our province, an important measure to promote the teaching reform of normal education for music physical beauty in colleges and universities, and also a provincial stage for normal students to show their talents.

This competition was held by combining the national basic skills performance trials for students majoring in music, physical education and aesthetic education with the basic skills competition for normal students in the province. 72 normal students majoring in music from 22 universities, 66 normal students majoring in art and 45 normal students majoring in physical education from 15 universities, as well as more than 20 teachers, team leaders and coaches serving as judges, participated in the live competition.
