Sha, 1934, born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, is a professor of Peking University, a doctoral supervisor, a professor in the Party History Research Office of the CPC Central Committee, a vice chairman of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Party History Society, and a vice chairman of the teaching steering committee of Marxist theory courses in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education. Engaged in the teaching and research of the history of CPC and Mao Zedong Thought for decades.
