Life of Characters in Luxun's Works
Lu Xun's family is a big family in Jiangdong. Grandfather Lu is a captain, and father Lu is a captain in Jiujiang (now Shouchun Cave, Anhui Province).

In the third year of Chuping (192), Lu Xun lost his father and studied in his office with his grandfather Lu Kang, the satrap of Lujiang.

In the first year of Xingping (194), because of Yuan Shu's discord, Yuan Shu sent Sun Ce to attack Lujiang, and Liu Kang held on for two years, and the city fell. More than a month later, he died, after Lu Kang sent Lu Xun and his relatives to Wu Jun. Lu Kangzi's achievements are still young, so Lu Xun took on the responsibility of supporting the portal.

Young Lu Xun is a gentle scholar. At that time, Lu Ji and his nephew Gu Shao were famous for their extensive reading, followed by Lu Xun, Zhang Dun and Bu Jing.

After Sun Ce's death, Sun Quan led the troops as generals, recruited handsome men and appointed celebrities. In the eighth year of Jian 'an (2003), Lu Xun was only twenty-one years old and was called into the Sun Quan shogunate to become the aide of the Sun Quan ruling group. Li Shidong and Cao made history; Later, he became a captain of Haichang (now Haining, Zhejiang) and a magistrate of Haichang County. Haichang has been suffering from drought for years. He opened a warehouse to help the poor, organized production to help himself and alleviated the disaster, so he won the hearts of the people. At that time, there were also many mountain thieves in Wu Jun, Huiji and Danyang (now northeast of Dangtu, Anhui). In view of this situation, Lu Xun adopted the method of household inspection and rectification, recruited the best of them as a trilogy, and used the rest for reclamation. At that time, there was a mountain thief, Pan Lin, who rebelled for many years and the government could not pacify him. Lu Xun then recruited soldiers to beg, and finally put it down. At that time, there were more than two thousand people under Lu Xun.

In the twenty-first year of Jian 'an (2 16), Poyang thieves and handsome rebels made an insurrection, which had a great influence. Lu Xun led the army and cooperated with He Qi, the general of Fenwu, to pacify it and behead thousands. Lu Xun was honored as General Ding Wei and stationed in Lipu. Through these wars, Lu Xun initially showed outstanding military talents and was highly valued by Sun Quan. Sun Quan honored Lu Xun as a gentleman, married his niece and Sun Ce's daughter to Lu Xun, and often consulted him to discuss the grand strategy of governing the country.

Lu Xun suggested to Sun Quan: "Today, heroes are fighting on their own, while wolves are waiting for opportunities. We want to conquer the enemy and pacify the war, and we can't do it without a large number of troops. Yamaguchi has a feud with us, relying on the mountain to find danger together. If our civil strife has not subsided, it will be difficult to plot against distant enemies. We should expand our army and select elite teams. " Sun Quan adopted his suggestion, appointed him as the right governor under the account, commanded the guards under the account, and named Lu Xun and Bletilla as the governors of Huiji, Poyang and Danyang counties.

In the same year, Zhanfei was rebelled by Cao Cao and incited the Mountain and Moon Uprising in Danyang. As Cao Jun's confidant, Zhanfei cooperated with Jun, and Sun Quan ordered Lu Xun to lead an army to conquer. There are many people in the time-consuming pile, and tracing the cause has few military forces, which is very different between the enemy and us. However, Lu Xun used flags, distributed war drums, and sent people to sneak into the valley at night to blow horns and beat drums, which soon broke the Feidian armed forces. It ordered the residents of Yue nationality in mountainous areas to move to the plain area, to be included in the household registration, to pay taxes on farming, and to select able-bodied men from them to join the army, and to obtain more than 10,000 elite soldiers, thus strengthening and consolidating the rule of Soochow. After that, Lu Xun led his elite troops back to Wuhu (now Wuhu, Anhui).

At this time, Chun Yu, the magistrate of Huiji, sued Lu Xun for illegal recruitment, and the people in the area under his jurisdiction were distressed by his disturbing people. After Lu Xun went back to know this, he said a few good words for Chunyu. Sun Quan was also puzzled and asked, "Why did you choose him when you sued you in a spring rain style?" Lu Xun said: "Chunyu's original intention is to regulate the people, so he sued me. If I slander him again to confuse the holy hearing, this atmosphere will not last long. " Sun Quan said: "This is really done by honest elders, and others can't do it." Sun Quan admired his manners. Although Lu Xun achieved something in his early activities, his reputation did not spread far. In the autumn of the 24th year of Jian 'an (2 19), generals such as Hu Wei, Monroe and Sun Quan stationed in Lukou (now northwest of Puyin, Hubei) plotted to capture Nanjun and Guan Yu. Leap in October, for hidden purposes, Lv Meng lied that he was ill and returned to Jianye, passing through Wuhu, where Lu Xun visited.

Lu Xun said to Lv Meng, "Guan Yu used his courage to insult others. He has just made great achievements. He is arrogant and ambitious. He just wants to attack the central plains in the north, and he is not wary of us. If he hears that you are seriously ill, he will be even more unprepared. If we attack him by surprise now, we can catch him and subdue him. When you see Supreme, you should plan well. " Lv Meng got a fright. After this conversation, Lu Meng discovered that Lu Xun was a talented person. Later, Monroe visited Sun Quan, who asked him who could command Lukou for him. Monroe strongly recommended Lu Xun, saying: "Lu Xun has far-reaching considerations and the ability to shoulder heavy responsibilities. His reputation is not far-reaching and will not be valued by Guan Yu. Sun Quan worshipped 36-year-old Lu Xun as the right commander of the partial general, not Lu Meng.

When Lu Xun arrived in Lukou, he wrote a letter to Guan Yu. Lu Xun took advantage of Guan Yu's arrogance and weakness, flattered Guan Yu with humble words in the book, appreciated his achievements, expressed his admiration for him, and said that he would never be an enemy of Guan Yu.

After reading the letter, Guan Yu despised Lu Xun, became more careless, and completely lost his vigilance against Soochow. The troops that stayed behind to guard Wu Dong were transferred to the front to deal with Cao Cao. At this time, although Guan Yu won at the front, his rear was in jeopardy. Guan Yu was not good at uniting his subordinates, which caused their dissatisfaction. Mi Fang and Shi Ren, the generals who stayed in Jiangling and public security, were unbearable and suddenly disloyal because of the untimely supply of military resources. Guan Yu vowed to punish them. Lu Xun knows all this information.

Lu Xun saw that the time was ripe to break Guan Yu and immediately reported to Sun Quan, who ordered Monroe and Lu Xun to take Jingzhou separately at the same time. Lv Meng led an army to attack the police and Jiangling. In Lu Xun, in November, Lu Xun led an army to Jingzhou Public Security and Nanjun, and was appointed as the prefect, general of frontier worship and marquis of China by Sun Quan. Fan You, the satrap of Yidu, abandoned the city and fled, while other camp officials and barbarian leaders all went with the wind. He also sent general Yi Li and three thousand troops to attack Shu with Chen Feng. Yi Li led the water army, Xie Jing led the infantry to break the Shu army Zhan Yan and others, but Chen Feng was captured alive. He also led the army to defeat Fu Deng Fangling Magistrate and Guo Mu Nanxiang Magistrate. Zigui clan Wen Bu and Deng Kai assembled thousands of foreign troops in an attempt to resist Wu Jun. Lu Xun once again ordered an attack on Wen Bu and Deng Kai. They fled in a hurry and Guan appointed them as generals. Lu Xun sent people in to lure him in, and Wenbu led them to surrender. Wu Jun, under the command of Lu Xun, was invincible, occupied the Zigui River and Post Road, held the gorge road, and prevented Guan Yu from returning to Yizhou. Guan Yu got the news and was not busy withdrawing troops from Fancheng. The police and Jiangling have been presented to Wu Jun by Mufang and the Stone Man. Guan is in a dilemma, desperate, exhausted and vacillating. Guan Yu had to lead the troops to retreat to Maicheng. In December, Guan Yu led a few cavalry to escape from Maicheng and was captured and beheaded by Pan Zhang's general Ma Zhong.

Before and after Lu Xun captured tens of thousands of Guan Yu's army, Sun Quan worshipped Lu Xun as the right-back army and the general of Zhenxi, and entered Louhou Anfu Jingzhou. Sun Quan praised Lu Xun's merits and wanted to show his glory. Although Lu Xun is already a general, he is a Hou. Still want him to be a juror in the state government. So Sun Quan asked Lv Fan, a shepherd in Yangzhou, to arrange a bus driver for Lu Xun to give full play to his talents.

In the winter of the first year of Yankang (220), Cao Pi usurped the Han position and changed it. In April of the following year (22 1), Liu Bei also proclaimed himself emperor in Shu. At the same time, Sun Quan moved to Hubei and changed his name to Wuchang. Lu Xun advocated recruiting talents and expanding the influence of Sun Wu's regime, and Sun Quan adopted his opinion. In the first year of Huang Wu (22 1), Liu Bei wanted to avenge Guan Yu and recapture Jingzhou. Regardless of Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun's advice, Liu Bei decided to attack Wu. Zhang Fei, the general of Langzhong chariot, was ordered to lead troops to Jiangzhou (now Chongqing) to meet the main force, but Zhang Fei was assassinated by the Ministry. In July, Liu Bei ordered Zhuge Liang, the prime minister, to stay in Chengdu, and Zhao Yun, the general, was appointed as the commander-in-chief of the rear army in Jiangzhou, and the pro-unification army marched eastward along the river.

When the Shu-Han army besieged the city, Sun Quan and Liu Bei were rejected, but they formed an alliance with Cao Wei, who took advantage of the situation to alienate Sun and Liu, and named Sun Quan the king of Wu in August. Sun Quansui appointed Lu Xun as viceroy and governor, commanded 50,000 troops from Zhu Ran, Han Dang, Xu Sheng, Pan Zhang, Sun Huan and other departments to resist the Shu-Han army, and sent Pingrong general Bu Zhi to guard Yiyang (now Yiyang, Hunan) with 10,000 troops, in order to prevent the five streams in Wuling (Xiangxi, Qiandong and Southwest Hubei) from helping Shu for barbarians.

When 40,000 Shu soldiers attacked Wu (now Wushan, Sichuan) and Zigui (now Hubei), Lu Xun took the initiative to retreat, lured the enemy into depth, concentrated his troops and smashed the enemy with his camera. He ordered Li Yi and Liu Ke to retreat to Yiling and Xiaoting (now Yidu North, Hubei Province, and the east bank of the Yangtze River) and give Liu Bei hundreds of miles of canyons and mountains to prolong the front of the Shu army.

In the first month of the second year of Huang Wu (222), Liu Beipai generals Wu Ban and Chen Shi, who were eager for success, led the water army into Yiling area and blocked the banks of the Yangtze River. In February, I personally led the generals to Zigui, passed the rugged mountain road, entered the Yiling area, and sat in the pavilion. The army of Shu and Han set up dozens of camps on the road from Wuxia to Yiling, and appointed Huang Quan as the general of Zhenbei, who led the army in Jiangbei to advance to the north of Yiling and refused to meet Wu Jun in Jiangbei, and monitored Wei Jun's movements to prevent attacks. Liang Life Department was stationed in Wuling County, and the cooperation department attacked Sha Department, the leader of Wutou Barbarian, threatening Wu Jun's flank.

Soon, Liu Bei sent Zhang Nan, a former governor, to besiege Sun Huan, who was stationed in the Post Road. General Wu Jun invited Lu Xun to send reinforcements and said, "Sun Andong is a close relative. He was surrounded. How can he not go to the rescue? " Lu Xun knew that Yi Daocheng had enough food and wanted to contain the Shu army, but he insisted on not dividing his troops. Memo reply: "Sun Andong has the support of officers and men, the city is strong, and there is enough food and grass. There is nothing to worry about. When my plan is fully realized, even if I don't save him, his encirclement will naturally be solved. " Later, when Sun Huan met Sun Quan, he said, "At first, I really blamed you for not coming to rescue. Now that the victory or defeat has been decided, I know that your dispatch has its own prescription. "

When the Shu and Han armies frequently challenged and the generals were eager to meet the enemy, Lu Xun patiently dissuaded them from sticking to it and tried to make the Shu and Han military advisers exhausted. Lu Xun believes that the Shu army is full of momentum now, and it is difficult to launch a lightning attack on them. Now is the time to reward and motivate soldiers and observe the changes in the situation. Don't attack until you are corrupt. The generals were puzzled and thought that Lu Xun was afraid of the enemy and resentful. Some veterans and generals of noble birth refused to obey the constraints, while Lu Xun put them under military discipline and strictly stopped them.

Liu Bei set an ambush of 1,000 people in the valley and let Wu Ban camp on the flat ground in an attempt to lure the enemy deeper. See through for Lu Xun, or don't fight. But all the generals attacked, and Lu Xun thought there was fraud. Seeing that the plan failed, Liu Bei led 8,000 ambushes out of the valley.

The two armies were at loggerheads for six months. In the hot summer, the Shu army could not make a quick decision, and the soldiers were exhausted. The Shu-Han water army was ordered to move to land again, losing the initiative of the land and water armies to cooperate with each other. The Shu army went deep into the hinterland of the enemy, stretching for hundreds of miles, with a long front, and it was difficult to fight and supply.

In June, Lu Xun decided to turn to the counterattack in due course, and wrote to Sun Quan, saying that Liu Bei always won less and lost more when he went out with troops before and after. Now it is time for Liu Bei to abandon the boat and fight the infantry. I hope the Supreme can sit back and relax and don't have to worry about it.

Tracing the cause first attacked the first battalion of Shu Han army, and the battle was unfavorable. However, Lu Xun grasped the way to defeat Liu Bei, and immediately ordered the soldiers to hold a pile of grass, and first set fire to a Han Shu camp, so that various armies took the opportunity to attack and forced Liu Bei to retreat to the west. Zhang Nan withdrew from the north, was attacked by Zhu Ran and Sun Huannan, and died. Lu Xun ordered the water army to block the Yangtze River and guard the Yi Road, dividing the Shu army into two rivers, east and west, and then dividing them one by one. After the fire in Wujun, more than 40 camps were burned down, and the Shu-Han army suffered heavy casualties. Du Lu and Liu Ning, the generals of Shu and Han Dynasties, surrendered, and Feng and Sha were killed. Liu Bei retreated to Maanshan and saved the day. Lu Xun concentrated his forces and was besieged on all sides. The Shu-Han army was torn apart and wiped out tens of thousands of troops. Liu Bei took advantage of the night to break through, and General Fu Tong died. Liu Bei fled to Zigui and ordered the burning of armor on the dangerous road to stop Wu's pursuers. Shu-Han army "boats and boats, equipment, water and military assets, a little exhausted at one time, corpses floating everywhere", which shows that Shu-Han army suffered great losses and failed miserably.

After Wu Jun's victory, the generals greatly praised Lu Xun. After hearing this, Sun Quan said, "Why didn't you sue the general for disobedience?" Lu Xun said: "I owe a lot to my country, and what I bear exceeds my actual ability." Besides, these generals or your majesty's cronies, or the brave generals of our army, or national heroes, are all people that the country should rely on to jointly build the great cause. Although I am stupid and cowardly, I secretly admire the morality of Lin Xiangru and Kou Xun in order to achieve national affairs. " After hearing this, Sun Quan was full of praise for Lu Xun's broad mind. Lu Xun was added as an assistant general, who led Jingzhou animal husbandry and was renamed Jiangling Hou.

After Liu Bei fled to Baidicheng, Xu Sheng, Pan Zhang and others jointly wrote a letter to attack Shu. Sun Quan consulted Lu Xun. Lu Xun, Zhu Ran and Luo Tong thought that "Cao Pi is a great man group. It is really treacherous to ask for help, and I am willing to make up my mind to repay it. " In order to prevent Cao Wei from attacking Wu, Lu Xun only sent Li Yi and followed Liu Bei to Nanshan (Zigui Nan 'an Mountain), and did not pursue them on a large scale. Huang Quan was cut off by Wu Jun and forced to land in Wei. Soon, Wei Jun did send troops to attack Wu, but he was helpless.

The Battle of Yiling is a famous example in the history of China. As the head coach of Wu Jun, Lu Xun observed the objective situation of the two armies, and determined the strategy of luring the enemy into depth, concentrating forces, attacking the enemy from the rear and destroying the enemy with cameras. And make full use of the terrain, weather and other favorable conditions, cleverly attack it with fire and defeat the Shu army in one fell swoop. After a great victory, the pursuit was stopped at the right time, which made Cao Wei have no chance to take advantage of it, and the overall strategic planning was thorough, which was a wonderful strategy.

After Liu Bei returned to Baidicheng (now Fengjie East, Sichuan), he was greatly ashamed and said, "Isn't it God's will that I was insulted by Lu Xun's setbacks?" And died in April of the following year. After Liu Bei's death, Liu Chan succeeded to the throne, assisted by Zhuge Liang, who still adopted a joint strategy, reconciled with Soochow and restored the Wu-Shu alliance. When dealing with the relationship between Wu and Shu, Sun Quan first asked Lu Xun for advice. The documents for Shu should also be shown to Lu Xun first. If there is a problem, Lu Xun can replace it before sending it out. Sun Quan also specially carved his own seal and gave it to Lu Xun as a daily fund for dealing with things between Wu and Shu. It is rare in the history of China to trust each other to such an extent. In the spring of the fifth year of Huang Wu (226), due to the lack of food in the stationed area, Lu Xun ordered the generals to reclaim farmland. Sun Quan replied, "Good idea! From now on, my father and son will personally lead a piece of farmland, and drive me with eight cows and pull four plows for farming. Although it is not as good as what the ancient sages did, it can do as well as others. " 10, Lu Xun advised Sun Quanguang to be kind, lighten the punishment, relax the collection of land tax and stop collecting household tax. Sun Quan answered them one by one, indicating that they are very special, and their joy and anxiety are the same. So Sun Quan ordered the relevant officials in charge to write all the laws and regulations, and sent a doctor to show them to Lu Xun and Zhu Gejin, so that they could find anything wrong and began to add and modify them. At that time, Sun Quan analyzed that Jiaozhou was located in Guangzhou and was soon unified with Jiaozhou.

In May of the seventh year of Huang Wu (228), Zhou Fu, the prefect of Poyang, wrote a letter from Wu Pai to Cao Xiu, a shepherd in Yangzhou, falsely claiming that he was censured by the prince of Wu, and wanted to abandon Wu and demote Wei, requesting to send troops to meet him. Cao Xiu didn't know the truth, so he went to Anhui City (now Anhui Buried Hill) to meet 100,000 cavalry. Wei Mingdi Cao Sao (governing Jinyang, now southwest of Taiyuan) ordered the general Sima Yi to lead the army to Jiangling (now Jiangling, Hubei); Jianwei General Jia Kui led the troops to Dongguan (now southwest of Hanshan, Anhui) to meet Cao Xiu Ce. In August, Sun Quan entered the mouth of Anhui Province (now the place where the Huaining River in Anhui Province enters the river), appointed Lu Xun as the viceroy, and appointed Huan Zhu, the general of Fenwu, and Quan Cong, the general of Suinan, as the left and right governors. Thirty thousand troops attacked Cao Xiu. Cao Xiu discovered it early, but he was ashamed of being cheated and relied on many military forces to fight against Wu Jun.

Huan Zhu offered advice to Sun Quandao: "Cao Xiu was appointed because he is a relative of the country, not a brave and good soldier. Today, if you are fighting a battle, you will undoubtedly lose. When you lose, you run. When you run away, you will definitely pass rocks and trailers. These two roads are dangerous and narrow. If ten thousand soldiers can open the way with firewood, then all his troops can be captured alive, even Cao Xiu can be captured alive. Request to cut off the road with my troops. If the great power is greatly enhanced and Cao Xiu surrenders voluntarily, we can capture Shouchun and divide it into Xuchang and Luoyang. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Don't miss it! " Sun Quan asked Lu Xun about it, but Lu Xun thought it impossible, so he didn't take any action.

The two sides finally fought in Shi Ting (now northeast of Anhui Buried Hill), with Lu Xun as the center, Huan Zhu and Quan Cong as the left and right sides, and defeated Wei Jun and Wei Jun. Lu Xun and other governors came later and reached Jiashi (now north of Tongcheng, Anhui), capturing more than 10,000 people in Wei Jun, 10,000 horses, cattle, mules and donkeys, and countless weapons. Thanks to Jia Kui's help, the remnants of Cao Xiu survived, but soon died of anger.

Sun Quan likes Lu Xun very much. Before the war, Sun Quan made the officials kneel down, pretended to be Yue, and greeted them respectfully with a whip. Lu Xun dispatched troops and returned to Jingzhou. Sun Quan gave him his car cover and told him to cover Lu Xun's entrance into the palace. Sun Quan took off his skirt hat and brought a gold ring to him. He put it on Lu Xun himself. Luxun was given enamel and lacquerware. Sun Quan gave a banquet to entertain the group members. When he was drunk, he asked Lu Xun to dance, took off his white hair and gave it to him to dance with Lu Xun. When Lu Xun returned to Xiling or saw him off together, Sun Quan gave him a gorgeous silk imperial boat. The gifts for Lu Xun are all royal treasures, and no one can compare with Lu Xun. In the first year of Huanglong (229), Sun Quan appreciated Lu Xun's achievements, and set up generals above, ranking higher than the three fairs. Lu Xun was worshipped as a general and protector of the Rightists. In the same year, Sun patrolled Jianye, leaving Prince Sun Deng, Prince and Shangshu Wine Officer in Wuchang, and let Xun assist the Prince, manage Jingzhou and Yangzhou affairs, and preside over Wu Jun affairs.

Lu Xun is honest and strict, and is responsible for educating the prince. At that time, Hou Sun of Jianchang loved fighting ducks. Lu Xun said seriously: "You should always study classics and increase new knowledge. What is the use of playing with these things? " Sun Si immediately removed the duck fence. Captain Sun Song is Sun Quan's closest son. He violated military discipline and indulged soldiers. Lu Xun punished his men for shaving their heads in front of him. Xie Jing, a native of Nanyang, praised Liu Kui's theory of "punishment before ceremony". Lu Xun rebuked Xie Jing and said, "History has long proved that it is completely wrong for Liu Ne to distort the teachings of the sages with trivial sophistry. Since you work in the East Palace, you should follow benevolence and righteousness to show good words, as Mclynn Killman Liu said. "

Although Lu Xun worked outside, he was worried about the important events of the imperial court. In his briefing, he pointed out that laws and regulations are too strict, and people's outstanding talents should be considered first, and they should be promoted and reused to serve the country. This is a great plan to attract talents from afar.

In the spring of the second year of Huanglong (230), Sun Quan wanted to send troops to Yizhou (now Taiwan Province Province) and Zhu Ya (now Xuwen and Hainan Island in Guangdong Province) and ask Lu Xun for advice. Lu Xun didn't think it was necessary, and the book said it was useless. Sun Quan still went to conquer Yizhou and only got a few thousand people, which was a great pity.

In the first year of Jiahe (232), Lu Xun led the army to Wei Lujiang (governing Lu 'an, now northeast of Lu 'an, Anhui). Man Chong, the governor of Yangzhou and the general of Zhengdong, saw that Wu Jun had boarded the boat, which was two hundred miles long. There is no follow-up force, which is an excellent opportunity to lure the enemy into depth and annihilate. We advocate letting Wu Jun in first, and then waiting to break the enemy. So, Man Chong didn't rush to send troops to rescue Lujiang, but led elite troops to ambush at Yangyikou (the confluence of Yangquan and Jueshui, now northeast of Huoqiu, Anhui) to meet Wu Jun. Lu Xun noticed Wei Jun's movement and led the army to retreat overnight.

In the spring of February in the second year of Jiahe (233), Gongsun Yuan in Liaodong surrendered to Wufeng, and Sun Quan was delighted. In March, Sun Quan took Jin Baozhen's goods and sent an envoy to Liaodong, making Gongsun Yuan a prince. As a result, Gongsun Yuan thought that Wu Guotai was too far away to rely on for a long time and killed the emissary. In December, Wei worshipped Gongsun Yuan as Fu and made him Qi Huangong. Sun Quan was furious and wanted to lead the troops to conquer himself. Lu Xun's letter was sealed and Sun Quan took his advice. In February of the third year of Jiahe (234), Zhuge Liang, the prime minister, attacked Wei for the fifth time, and sent messengers to contact Dongwu to attack Wei cooperatively. In May, Sun Quan led a hundred thousand troops into Chaohu Lake, ready to attack Hefei New Town. Lu Xun and Zhu Gejin were sent to Jiangxia (Wuchang, now Hubei) and Miankou (now Hankou, Hubei) with more than 10,000 people each, ready to attack Xiangyang (now Xiangfan, Hubei). General Sun Shao and Rizo also sent more than 10,000 people to the Huaihe River, ready to attack Guangling (now Taizizhou, Jiangsu) and Huaiyin (now Huai 'an, Jiangsu).

When Cao Rui heard the news, he sent an escort army, Qin Lang, to lead twenty thousand cavalry to help Sima Yi resist the Shu army, and sent eight thousand troops and cavalry as vanguard troops to help the new town. In July, Cao Rui was head of the navy. Sun Quan sent troops to attack the new town many times, but the garrison commander Zhang Ying and others refused to defend and could not resist. . At that time, there were many patients in Wu Jun, Wei reinforcements arrived, Cao Rui's army was coming, and Sun Quan withdrew.

Lu Xun sent Han Bian, a close friend, to deliver letters to Sun Quan. When Han Bian returned to China, he was captured by soldiers patrolling Wei Jun. Zhu Gejin was very frightened and wrote to Lu Xun, saying, "Your Majesty has returned to China, and the enemy captured Han Bian. He knows everything about us. Now that the river is dry, we should withdraw our troops quickly. " After Lu Xun received the letter, he didn't reply. Instead, they sent people to plant fennel and beans, and played chess and shoot movies with the generals as usual. So Zhu Gejin personally visited Lu Xun.

Lu Xun thinks that your majesty has returned from the east and there is nothing to worry about. They need to use their psychic skills and then quit. So Zhu Gejin decided to March to Xiangyang as planned, Zhu Gejin led the water army, and Lu Xun led the army to Xiangyang. Wei Jun, who had always been afraid of Lu Xun, immediately returned to the city. Lu Xun and Zhu Gejin bluffed forward, making Wei Jun afraid to attack. After entering Baiwei (now Baihekou, Hubei Province), he threatened to hunt, and secretly divided the generals Zhou Jun and Sean to attack Jiangxia, Xinshi, Anlu (now Yunmeng, Hubei Province) and Shiyang (now northwest of Hanchuan, Hubei Province). Wherever Wu Jun went, Ren Wei abandoned things and entered the city, so that the city gate was blocked and could not be closed. Wei Jun had to commit suicide, and then closed the city gate. Wu Jun beheaded more than a thousand prisoners and then retreated safely.

Lu Xun was kind and comforting to the prisoners, and soldiers were forbidden to break in. Those with families will be sent to look after the dishes. If they lose their wives and children, they will get clothes, food and a comfortable life, and then be sent home. Some people were moved and admired by this and joined them. People in neighboring areas have also taken refuge in Lu Xun. Martial artists in Jiangxia, Wei, Yiyang generals Pei Sheng and barbarian king all led their followers to take refuge in Lu Xun. Lu Xun took out all his possessions and gave them considerate support. There is another satrap in Jiangxia of Wei, who is also the leader of local military forces. He is quite troublesome to the border of Wu, but he has always been at odds with Wen Xiu, the son of Wen Pin, a veteran of Wei. When Lu Xun heard about this situation, he pretended to write back and agreed to surrender. Wu Jun put the letter on the border between the two countries, terrified, and personally sent his wife and children back to Luoyang. Since then, his subordinates have never been close to him, so they have been removed from office.

In the first month of the sixth year of Jiahe (237), Sun Quan wrote a letter to his ministers to discuss funeral legislation, and Prime Minister Gu Yong called for the death penalty for those who violated the law. Since then, Wuxian ordered Meng Zongchong to go to his mother's house illegally, and then detained himself in Wuchang for punishment. Lu Xun explained Meng Zong's usual behavior to Sun Quan and took the opportunity to intercede for Meng Zong. Sun Quan reduced his sentence and declared that it would not happen again, so the illegal funeral disappeared. In February, Sun Quan sent Lu Xun overseers to conquer Peng Dan, which was tied by Lu Xun.

In the same year, Wu Zhonglang sent Zhou Zuo to Poyang County (now Poyang, Jiangxi) for conscription. Zhou Zuo asked about this matter in Lu Xun, and Lu Xun thought that the people in Poyang County were restless and it was best not to call. Zhou Zuo and others didn't listen, which really aroused the civil unrest. Wu Ti and others rallied to revolt, killed Zhou Zuo and captured several counties. People in Zhang Yu (county governs Nanchang) and Luling (county governs Gaochang, now southwest of Ji 'an, Jiangxi) also responded. Lu Xun and Chen Biao conquered Wuqi, and Wuqi embraced and incorporated some insurgents, gaining more than 8,000 chosen men and pacifying the three counties. Lu Xun appointed Chen Biao as a partial general, promoted to Duxianghou, and stationed in Zhangkeng in the north.

In the spring of the first year of Chiwu (238), Lu Yi, the school administrator, was exposed and executed. He used to spoil and play politics, alienate the monarch and his subjects, bully the weak and fear the hard, and take revenge, which was very cruel. Lu Xun and Pan Zhuo, who are far away in Wuchang, are worried about this matter and often cry. After Sun Quan killed Coco, he deeply blamed himself. Sun Quan sent a letter to Lang Yuanli to apologize to everyone, and blamed Zhu Gejin, Lv Dai, Zhu Ran and Buzhi for thinking that they were military attache, and put the blame on Lu Xun and Pan Zhuo, but they refused to express their views.

At that time, Xie Yuan, Xie Tiao and others respectively stated what should be done at present, and planned to change some political measures and set up something useful for the country. Sun Quan handed this matter over to Lu Xun for approval. Lu Xun suggested: "the country is people-oriented, the country's prosperity depends on the people's strength, and wealth and goods also come from the people." The people are rich and the country is strong, and the people are poor and strong. Such a thing has never happened before. Therefore, those who govern the country will get the support of the people, the country will be governed, and those who lose the support of the people will be in chaos. It's really hard to make people do their best without benefiting. It is based on the words in the Book of Songs that lament' benefit the people and God bless the people'. I ask your majesty to have mercy and comfort the people. In a few years, the country's financial resources are small and abundant, and then consider other things. " In the first month of the seventh year of Chiwu (244), Sun Quan appointed Lu Xun as Prime Minister after the death of former Prime Minister Gu Yong. The imperial edict said, "I have been appointed as an immoral person. The world is not yet unified, and traitors are in the way. I worry day and night and can't rest. However, you are brilliant and have extraordinary virtues. You are an important general, helping the imperial court to eliminate chaos. Those who have made great achievements in the world, who are great in honor and have both civil and military skills, will bear the heavy responsibility of the country. In the past, Yi Yin made Shang Tang prosperous, and Lu merchants assisted the Western Zhou Dynasty. Now, all the important events inside and outside the imperial court are up to you. Now that you are the prime minister, you are often awarded the national seal and ribbon by the ambassador. You should carry forward noble virtues, make great achievements, obey the king's orders and pacify the four sides. Oh! Can we not seriously control the three officials and punish all the officials? You encourage yourself to work hard! Your original positions as Jingzhou animal husbandry, Youdu nursing, and Wuchang staying are still the same. "

Lu Xun has always been thoughtful and quiet, and nothing he speculated could not be realized. From the beginning, Lu Xun warned public opinion to build a mansion strictly, thinking that it would definitely cause trouble. Lu Xun also said to Zhuge Ke: "People before me, I will certainly serve him and be promoted with me;" The man behind me, I helped to support him. It is not the basis of consolidating virtue to see that you have invaded your superiors in imposing manner and despise your subordinates in your heart. "Zhuge Ke knew that Lu Xun didn't like himself, so he wrote to him to explain the situation. Yang Zhu, a native of Guangling, had a great reputation when he was young, but Lu Xun thought that he would eventually get into trouble and die, so he advised Yang Zhu's brother Yang Mu to live separately from Yang Zhu and set up another portal. At that time, Prince Sun He and Sun Ba, King of Lu, were fighting for the position of Prince, and most officials inside and outside the imperial court sent their children to serve Sun He or Sun Ba. Quan Cong told Lu Xun that Lu Xun believed that these children should be adopted only on merit, and should not be invited to win glory without permission. He stood in a neutral position and thought that these children who supported the forces of the two palaces would form factions, which was the most taboo thing of the ancients. Lu Xun wrote to Quan Cong again, saying that all Quan Cong's sons were sent to support Sun Ba, which would inevitably bring disaster to his family. Quan Cong didn't take his advice, and the two even became estranged.

Sun Quan summoned Yang Zhu privately, and Yang Zhu thought that King Lu should be his heir. Sun Quan promised him. At that time, a servant hid under Sun Quan's bed to eavesdrop and informed Sun He. Sun He then had a secret discussion with Lu Yin, the son of Lu Xun's family, and wanted to ask Lu Xun to remonstrate. A teacher and my wife have also corresponded with Lu Xun several times. Lu Xun then repeatedly stated the difference between official position and ordinary position, and asked to meet. Sun Quan was very angry, because Lu Xun was an important official. Without punishing him, he sent messengers to blame him.

At this point, the struggle between princelings and Luwangdang became more intense. Lu Xun's nephews Gu Tan, Gu Cheng and Yao Xin supported the Prince. Quan Cong and his son pointed out that Zhang Xiu and Gu Cheng colluded with Yao Chen, the standard army, and took credit for the battle of Shaopi, and the last three were exiled. But because we asked King Lu to emigrate and write to Lu Xun, we were all resented by Sun Ba and imprisoned and put to death. Lu Xun's heart was full of anger. Lu Xun died in February of the eighth year of Chiwu (245) at the age of 63. Extra items that are not available at home. . Lu Xun's eldest son, Yan Lu, died young, and his second son, Lu Kang, was knighted. Lu Kang was 20 years old when Lu Xun died. He was appointed as a captain of Jianwu by Sun Quan, leading 5,000 people in the tracing the cause department. When Lu Kang thanked him for burying his father in Suzhou, Sun Quan took out Yang Zhu's 20 accusations against Lu Xun and verified them with Lu Kang. Lu Kang answered them one by one and defended his father. Sun Quan listened to Lu Kang's words and gradually eliminated his anger against Lu Xun.

In the 13th year of Chiwu (250), it was revealed that Yang Zhu and his gang conspired with Sun Ba to kill Sun. Yang Zhu was punished for leaking secrets and is still buried in the Yangtze River. In the first year of Taiyuan (25 1), Lu Kang was still treating diseases. When he left, Sun Quan said goodbye to him with tears in his eyes: "I used to listen to rumors because your father violated the right path and failed you. The materials I asked before and after must be burned out, so that no one can see them again. "
