CET-4 and CET-6 are large-scale standardized tests sponsored by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and organized and implemented by the Education Examinations Institute of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (formerly the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education). They are national teaching examinations.

Evaluation of CET-4 and CET-6 reform;

Cloze test was cancelled in CET-4 and CET-6, and single sentence translation was changed to whole paragraph translation. CET-4 and CET-6 have finally taken the step of reform, but the translation from single sentence to whole paragraph has increased the score and difficulty of the topic and increased the learning burden for students.

And fundamentally speaking, the change of question type is only the innovation of examination form. How to reform the evaluation model of English learning, make English education return to the attribute of language tools and break the English worship complex is the key to the problem.
