Kindergarten curriculum
The daily courses of all grades in kindergarten include: developing language and reading ability, basic arithmetic, simple scientific knowledge, social skills, innovative ability and problem-solving ability, as well as music appreciation and outdoor games.
Kindergartens have classes for 3 to 4 hours every day from Monday to Friday, and parents can freely choose the time to start school in the morning or afternoon.
The educational goal of kindergartens in Singapore is to let children observe, explore and discover the world happily. In order to cultivate thoughtful people and lifelong learners, the state needs to educate children to learn to think and learn by thinking. However, children's thinking ability is not innate, but the connection between language and thinking is closely linked. When cultivating children's thinking ability, the most important thing is to develop children's language ability.
