First, emphasize that children are the main body of teaching, enter the world of childlike innocence, and protect the bud of children's interest.
The teacher cultivates a pure land. The reason why the teacher works is pure is because he faces a group of pure children. Educators can't tolerate defilement of this holy land with dirty souls. Love your job, work hard consciously and practice seriously. To be a good art teacher for children, we must love life, be patient, help children learn tolerance and understanding, let children know how to understand, respect and care about others, know how to cooperate with others, and be able to communicate and get along well with others. This is the purpose of education: to look at children from a developmental perspective. Children in the lower grades of primary school are so naive at heart that they are not bound by too many reasons. Interest is so important for children. In teaching, I try my best to protect and cultivate children's interest buds, never treat students' creation lightly, or give positive affirmation or reasonable suggestions, and devote myself to painting and art activities with children.
For example, in the first class of the third-grade art book Castle in Dreams, I vividly told the story of Snow White in the introductory class before class, and then asked the students to close their eyes and imagine: What would the castle look like if the girl was Snow White and the boy was a prince? The children in grade three are in a period of rich imagination, so they are very enthusiastic about answering this question. As Engels said: "Thinking is the most beautiful flower on the earth", which opens the floodgates of children's imagination. The answers are really colorful and strange. Then it is logical for children to express their dream castles in various forms, and even some children can't wait. It is precisely because I dug up what children are interested in that I opened the floodgates of students' imagination. As an art teacher, how important it is to cultivate children's interests!
People don't like people who give you a straight face every day, let alone children. As the saying goes, "Give a child a heart instead of a face." Actually, this sentence doesn't make any sense. Can you walk into the world of children with a straight face? I don't know how to manage children. I must be very tired after learning math language all day. For many years, I have been insisting on bringing smiles into the classroom. A smile can dissolve the solidified classroom atmosphere, and a smile will bring infinite intimacy to children and bring you closer to them. Smiling will make the teacher's explanation more attractive, and smiling will bring students a sense of pleasure in learning. Smiling builds a bridge to art between me and my children.
Humanistic care let me really enter the world of childlike innocence, protect the bud of children's interest, and let me discover a strange and interesting hall of thought.
Second, teachers should be able to interpret children's paintings and be good at communicating with children.
As a teacher, you should be able to interpret children's paintings and be good at communicating with children. If you can't understand children, you can't do your job well. Modern children's art education is centered on human development, and the premise of educating children is to respect and understand children, and everything is based on the law of children's psychological development. Teachers should not only understand the knowledge of psychology, but also have the ability to understand children and be good at establishing close and harmonious relations with children. Can enter the children's world at any time, can understand the children's voices, know what children like, need, think and do; And can make friends with children in an equal and friendly manner. Only in this way can teachers be qualified to help and guide children.
Art teachers must also be familiar with the visual language symbols created by children. Children's paintings reflect the inner world of children. I know their hobbies, personalities and their growth through children's works. Only by caring about children's artistic creation enthusiastically and understanding their ideas patiently can we improve teaching according to the situation. When guiding children, don't take personal hobbies as the criterion, and don't criticize and deny children easily. We should help children develop their body, mind and personality in an all-round way in artistic activities with a friendly and consultative attitude. People-oriented, children-oriented, this is the premise for me to teach children well.
Third, carefully evaluate students' homework and return appropriate art education to children.
Evaluation is very important to make children's paintings truly become "children's own paintings". I never judge children's paintings, but seriously show each child's works for children to appreciate and discuss. Before each class, I will analyze and evaluate the students' works in the previous class. The principle of evaluation is to praise each student's unique creation. For example, I can ask children "which one do you like best" instead of "which one is the best", because what I want to do is to allow children to express and develop their personal understanding of the world, to allow the existence of different evaluation criteria, and to allow the development of personality. If our evaluation is still the same, "I like this painting", "This painting is clean", "This painting is very good" and "This painting is a mess, I don't like it", then it can only show that we haven't figured out what art education is for, so we can never give children a real art education.
Art curriculum evaluation I take the evaluation principle of "Curriculum Standards" as the purpose, so that children can express and develop their personal understanding of the world. Over time, a virtuous circle is formed, that is, students want to be affirmed, work harder and create more freely, develop their personality, and gradually form a hobby for art. Students like art and have a more relaxed class!
Fourth, find a language suitable for children's psychology, so that students can create in a happy mood and reflect the spirit of humanistic care.
"Psychology" tells the teacher: "The teacher's language is vivid, concise and fluent, cadence, moderate speech speed, interesting and fascinating. Moderate expressions and gestures can enhance the emotional contagion of teaching content. "In teaching, I always keep in mind these principles of psychology. I am good at seizing the opportunity and using positive language to enhance children's interest in painting according to their interests and suitable environment.
I imagined myself as Ju Ping and Dong Hao in the explanation of each class, and explained and communicated with a childlike and lively tone and rich expressions ... As a result, the noisy children immediately calmed down, their eyes were fixed on me, and their thoughts danced in the classroom with my cadence language. The students are in a good mood. In the process of trying to operate or create, they enrich their learning experience and experience the fun of discovery and exploration without any pressure. When they finished their works, they fully felt the joy of success and their self-confidence came into being. As a teacher, I am good at seizing the opportunity and using positive language to enhance children's interest in painting according to their interests and suitable environment. Isn't this the embodiment of humanistic care spirit in teaching?
5. Respect students, establish students' self-confidence, and pour love into every student.
Self-confidence is the motive force of children's artistic creation and the psychological basis of artistic learning. Imagine how painful it is for a child without self-confidence to create art! How can we talk about the development of children's personality, how can we talk about giving full play to children's subjectivity and creativity, and how can we talk about cultivating innovative spirit and problem-solving ability?
In teaching, I always see some children who are not confident enough about themselves. In the third grade, there was a chubby child named Yang Chen. He always sat lazily in the classroom, too lazy to think and do his homework. The teacher taught me a lot, but I'm still the same. After understanding the situation with my classmates around me, I feel that students like Yang Chen get too little encouragement and affirmation, which in the long run will lead to psychological impact, loss of confidence in themselves, thinking that they can do nothing, and even inferiority. I have formed the habit of being too lazy to think, too lazy to start work, and muddle along. What shall we do? I must first establish his self-confidence. I've been looking for opportunities. I was surprised to find that he was deeply involved in a course, so I took the opportunity to praise him. He was a little surprised at my praise, because it seemed that it had nothing to do with him. He was always serious in that class. I succeeded in my first move and gave him enough face in front of the whole class! It changed the omnipotent impression he gave to the whole class and helped him establish his dignity. The second trick is to establish its confidence! I'm waiting for the next chance. For the next period of time, he did well, but there was no convincing work. Finally, in the class of "New Life on Earth", Yang Chen's works are very creative. That day, I let the whole class appreciate his works and gave him high affirmation and praise. I saw a trace of surprise and hard-to-hide happiness on the child's face at that time, and I was happy in my heart. Through this kind of praise, you can tell him that if others can do it, you can do it. I successfully established his confidence in front of all my classmates! Through this incident, he completely held his head high in front of his classmates and regained his confidence. The remaining work is the consolidation stage. Teachers all know that children like Yang Chen are extremely unstable, and they tend to be egocentric or arrogant, so in the future, I will encourage him in all aspects of discipline, learning attitude and homework. In the art class again, he has taken a serious seat, participated in art activities very seriously, and took the initiative to bring his works to me for guidance. Yang Chen, who used to be insecure and lazy, disappeared. Now he is confident and advanced! It is precisely because I attach importance to the dignity of students, put people first, and respect his value as an independent person that I have won great changes in my children!
Humanistic education emphasizes people-oriented and teachers' view of human nature. As an art teacher, while strengthening his own knowledge, he should also strengthen his sense of history, responsibility and self-awareness, learn how to think independently, develop himself, integrate humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, and use this humanistic spirit to develop children's artistic accomplishment, cultivate sentiment and promote personality development.
Mr. Feng Zikai said: "Adults in the world, you have all changed from children, and your childlike innocence has not completely disappeared. You should always remember your childlike innocence and see the children's world by yourself. Don't misunderstand them, abuse them and destroy their beauty and happiness. " Mr. Feng Zikai's understanding of children's psychology and requirements for teachers' work make us feel very cordial. Children in the new century are smarter, more exploratory and have higher requirements for education than before. They live in a constantly changing environment. In this increasingly advanced social life, art learning helps children develop their greatest potential. Let's summon people from all walks of life to pay close attention to the growing children's art education and inherit the broadest humanistic spirit, tradition and culture; Beautify children's hearts with love, create spiritual children's art, and give children a frank childhood!
