Fengfeng Mining Area Vocational Education Center was founded in 1974, and 1985 was listed as Fengfeng Mining Area Technical School. In 2004, with the approval of the district government, it officially became the vocational and technical education center of Fengfeng mining area. In 2007, the former vocational education center merged with the former Chunhua Middle School to form a new vocational education center.
