What are the difficulties of rural middle school education in China at present? How should these dilemmas be solved?
In recent years, with the acceleration of urban construction, high-quality resources are inclined to cities, and educational resources are no exception. Compared with urban secondary education, the gap between rural secondary education and urban secondary education is widening further. Based on what I have seen and heard, I think there are the following difficulties in rural middle school education in China:

1, the teaching facilities are relatively backward. Compared with the past, the teaching facilities in rural middle schools have been greatly improved, and now they can basically meet the needs of teaching. But it can't be compared with the modern and information-based teaching facilities in urban middle schools. In rural middle schools, we can only learn some abstract things by imagination, while the teaching facilities in urban middle schools can intuitively abstract the corresponding models for students to understand. Chemistry is a subject that pays more attention to practice. Teachers in middle schools in the city can use relevant teaching equipment to lead everyone to do experiments and understand the chemical reactions in the process of hands-on operation. Students in rural middle schools can only rely on the knowledge in books and teachers' explanations.

2. Students' learning initiative is not strong. In some rural areas of our country, the view that "reading is useless" is still full. Some parents don't want their children to continue studying in school, thinking that their children have reached the age of working in cities to make money. On the one hand, these parents' own cultural level is not high and they don't realize the importance of learning. On the other hand, the economic conditions of many families in rural areas are not very good. Reading costs money, and I hope children can reduce their financial pressure. In this environment, many rural children don't like learning very much, and think learning is useless. They can't imagine that the college entrance examination actually provides them with the best cross-class way, and knowledge can change their destiny.

3. The level of teachers is insufficient. In rural middle schools, although there are many excellent teachers, they can also impart knowledge to students. However, compared with teachers in cities, there are still some deficiencies in the knowledge level and teaching level of rural teachers. The same knowledge, the final result may be the same. Rural and urban middle school teachers can explain to students, but urban teachers can better explain the principle behind this knowledge point in the teaching process, which is convenient for students to understand and remember.

In view of the current practical difficulties faced by rural middle school education, I think several solutions are put forward. First of all, we should continue to increase assistance to rural middle schools, so that good urban middle schools and rural middle schools can share some teaching resources. Secondly, it also improves the treatment of rural teachers. On this basis, rural teachers are required to strengthen their study and learn the latest teaching models and methods. Thirdly, to break the theory of "reading is useless", we should fundamentally change this traditional concept in rural areas and let parents and students realize the importance of learning. Finally, don't be satisfied with the existing teaching facilities, and further improve them when conditions permit. Teaching facilities can improve students' practical operation ability, better understand relevant knowledge and cultivate students' interest in science in operation.
