The first provinces in China are: Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou and Tibet.

The applicable provinces of National Volume B (after the merger of National Volume I and National Volume I) include Henan, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Ningxia, Xinjiang and Shaanxi, with a total of 12 provinces and cities. The provinces that use the new college entrance examination I are Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Hunan, Hubei, Hebei and Shandong, a total of 7 provinces. The Chinese, Mathematics and Foreign Language examinations are organized by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, and the provinces make their own questions for physics, history, chemistry, politics, biology and geography.

The scope of application of the first volume of the new college entrance examination includes Liaoning, Chongqing and Hainan, a total of three provinces and cities. Chinese, mathematics and foreign language examinations are put forward by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education, and physics, history, chemistry, politics, biology and geography are put forward by the provinces themselves. Among them, Liaoning and Chongqing are 3+ 1+2 provinces, and Hainan is a comprehensive reform 3+3 province.

Difficulty of college entrance examination in 2023:

The 2023 college entrance examination is not necessarily the most difficult year. Because the college entrance examination in 2023 has not been taken, it is impossible to know whether the college entrance examination in 2023 will be the most difficult.
