Beihai Primary School was founded in 1904. The predecessor of Beihai Primary School was Ming Dow Girls' School founded by Xu Xilin, a pioneer of the Revolution of 1911, and Cai Yuanpei, an educator. The school has a long history and glorious tradition. The villains in the north of the past dynasties took hard work as their responsibility, and therefore won the praise of the society and the attention of the government. The school has 88 classes with 2426 students and 0/02 faculty members. Among the teachers, 48% have senior professional titles, and 92% have college education or above.
