Southern College of Sun Yat-sen University is an independent college jointly founded by Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong Zhujiang Investment Group with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2006. It is a multi-disciplinary full-time application-oriented undergraduate college, and was selected as a pilot college for undergraduate transformation in Guangdong Province in 20 16.
The school has 6 15 full-time teachers and more than 500 off-campus teachers, including 4 doctoral supervisors 14, 2 outstanding talents of the Ministry of Education in the new century, 2 famous teachers of Guangdong special education plan 1 person, 4 famous teachers of Guangdong universities 1 person, and 2 winners of Guangdong Excellent Teaching Achievement Award. There are outstanding young teachers 1 person in colleges and universities in Guangdong province, 29 young and middle-aged teachers and domestic visiting scholars, 2 outstanding educators in private education in Guangdong province and 4 outstanding teachers in private education in Guangdong province.
Xia, Huang Tianji and three well-known scholars are specially invited as academic consultants, and seven influential scholars (professors) such as,, and Wang Zhemin are invited as lecture professors. At the same time, the school constantly improves and innovates the talent introduction mechanism. Since 20 14, more than 80 doctors from well-known universities at home and abroad, such as Oxford University, new york State University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University, have been introduced in batches.
