Xinyi Education City Junior High School was originally the junior middle school of Xinyi Middle School. In recent years, in the process of implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the city through science and education and adjusting the layout of high school education, Xinyi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have made the decision to build an education city and relocate Xinyi Middle School. In the autumn of 2003, Xinyi Middle School moved to Xinyi Education City, which was divided into two parts. The high school uses the name of Xinyi Middle School, and the middle school is named Xinyi Education City Junior Middle School, which is managed independently.
