Yijiang District belongs to Wuhu City, Anhui Province. It is located in the south of Wuhu City, bordering Jingshan River in the east and Zhanghe River in the south, and adjacent to Wuhu County and Fanchang County. It faces the Yangtze River in the west and Qingyi River in the north. Yijiang District, located in the middle of Wuhu City, is the second largest area in Wuhu City and the center of education, culture and sports in the city. Yijiang District governs five streets and a Party Working Committee: Yijiangqiao Street, Zhongshan South Road Street, Limin Road Street, Matang Street, Haogang Street, Huolong Street, Baima Street and Nanrui Party Working Committee.
