Shucheng Middle School was founded in 1902, formerly known as "Binnong Middle School". Shucheng Middle School, together with Hefei Luzhou Middle School and tongcheng middle school, is the three primary schools of secondary education in Anhui Province, and jointly created the precedent of secondary education in Anhui Province.

1905 was renamed Shucheng Middle School. 1928, Shucheng county government organized the establishment of Shucheng county junior high school, chose the Hufu Temple, a place where crouching dragons and tigers lurk, as the school site, and appointed member Wang Renfeng as the first principal.

1952 was officially named "Shucheng Middle School in Anhui Province". 1978 was approved by the provincial education department as a key middle school in Lu' an area. 200 1 was approved by the provincial department of education as a model high school in Anhui province.
