Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to encourage coaches to study actively, strive to improve their political awareness and professional level, do a good job in teaching and training, and promote the rapid improvement of the technical level of sports in China, the coach grading system is formulated. Chapter II Grade Names Article 2 Coaches are divided into five grades: national coaches, first-class coaches, second-class coaches, third-class coaches and assistant coaches. Chapter III Conditions for Coaches at All Levels Article 3 Coaches at all levels must accept the leadership of China, love the motherland, support socialism and serve the people wholeheartedly; Actively study business and strive to do a good job in teaching and training; Study Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong's works hard, and constantly improve political awareness and theoretical level of Marxism-Leninism. Article 4 Assistant coaches: Those who meet the requirements of Article 3 (national defense sports coaches are not necessarily graduates of sports schools, but they must receive certain professional training), or athletes who have been trained for three years are called assistant coaches. Article 5 Three-level coaches:

(1) Assistant coaches who meet the requirements of Article 3 and have been engaged in coaching for more than two years can be promoted to third-class coaches if they are proved to be able to serve as teaching and training for first-class sports teams in practical work.

(two) who have the requirements of the third physical education college graduates, or after five years of training to become a coach, can be rated as a three-level coach. Article 6 Second-level coaches: All third-level coaches who meet the requirements of Article 3 and the following conditions can be promoted to second-level coaches.

(a) three-level coach for three years, with remarkable achievements;

(2) Master the theoretical knowledge and technology of this sport systematically, be able to carry out the teaching and training of this sport well, and have some theoretical knowledge of sports. Article 7 First-class coaches: All second-class coaches who meet the requirements of Article 3 and the following conditions can be promoted to first-class coaches.

(a) two-level coach for more than three years, with remarkable achievements;

(two) master the theory and technology of this sport systematically, have comprehensive knowledge of sports theory and rich practical experience in teaching and training, and be able to carry out certain scientific research work in combination with reality;

(3) Have a certain cultural accomplishment and be able to read foreign sports books in a foreign language (for some events or coaches, a foreign language is not a necessary condition). Article 8 National coaches: All first-class coaches who meet the requirements of Article 3 and the following conditions can be promoted to national coaches.

(a) as a first-class coach for five years and achieved outstanding results;

(two) proficient in the theory and technology of this sport, with high theoretical knowledge of sports, rich practical experience in teaching and training, considerable scientific research ability, scientific works of this major, or major inventions;

(3) Have a high cultural literacy and be able to skillfully use a foreign language for professional research (for some special projects or coaches, a foreign language is not a prerequisite);

(four) to guide the professional training of coaches at all levels. Article 9. Coaches and athletes who meet the requirements of Article 3, have made particularly rapid progress in politics and business, made particularly remarkable achievements in teaching and training, or made major inventions or made significant contributions to the country, may be promoted or leaped ahead of time without being limited by the number of years. Chapter IV Approval and Revocation of Grades Article 10 The grading of coaches shall be based on the mass line and the principle of combining leaders with the masses.

(a) the evaluation of national and first-class coaches shall be discussed and agreed by the coaches' units, studied and evaluated by local sports associations (or corresponding organizations), submitted to the provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities) Sports Committee for examination and approval, and transferred to the Sports Committee of the People's Republic of China for approval.

(II) The evaluation of second-level coaches shall be discussed and agreed by the unit where the coaches work, studied and evaluated by the local sports association (or corresponding organization), reported to the local sports commission for examination and approval, and transferred to the provincial (autonomous region, city) sports commission for approval.

(III) The evaluation of the third-level coaches and assistant coaches shall be discussed and approved by the unit where the coaches work, studied and evaluated by the local sports association (or corresponding organization), reported to the municipal and county sports commission for approval, and reported to the provincial sports commission for the record.

(4) Except for the national first-class coaches of China People's Liberation Army, other levels may formulate their own examination and approval measures and report them to the Sports Commission of the People's Republic of China for approval. Eleventh coaches are promoted once a year, and the coaches' performance and professional ability in practical work are evaluated by their units, and reported to the relevant sports committees for approval in accordance with the provisions of Article 10. Twelfth coaches at all levels, such as serious mistakes, need to be demoted or revoked, must be approved by the original approval of the Sports Commission at the next higher level. Chapter V Certificates Article 13 Certificates for Grade II, Grade III and Assistant Coaches shall be issued by the Sports Committee of the approved level. National coaches and first-class coaches shall be awarded certificates by the Sports Commission of the People's Republic of China.
