Qiongzhong Middle School was founded in 1956. Its predecessor was Qiongzhong County Middle School, 196 1. In February, Qiongzhong County Middle School moved to Yinggen Town and merged with Yinggen Junior High School to form Qiongzhong County No.2 Middle School. Later, it was renamed "Hongqi Middle School" and "Qiongzhong County Middle School". 1978 was designated as the county key middle school by the county party Committee and county government, and 1986 was designated as the department-level unit and reported to the provincial education department for the record, and it was renamed as "Qiongzhong Middle School".
